Sleeping:Problem with sleep at night

Hi,

My baby is 10 months old and she has problem sleeping at night almost from last 5 months.I give her solids around 8:00 PM and formula around 10.pm.Even she wakes up crying and sometimes sits in her sleep. She cries without opening her eyes..i have to put her on my lap and pat her or carry her around the house singing lulabies in the middle of the night.I completly dont understand why she cries. We thought it was gas for few days and used to give mylacon and sometimes i feed her thinking she is hungry, sometimes i just change the diaper and put her in loose clothes..or switch on all the lights and wake her up so that she will play and sleep after sometime. Now we are not letting her sleep after 6pm so that she will sleep better during nights.right now its working out well....lets see whether it continues...If you have any other suggestions please share it with me and if some of our tricks help others I will be very happy...

Suja.

Hello, Even my baby does this still. She is 11 months soon will become one. I realised once she wanted to pass her bladder in sleep so she cried. I could realise this only when I took her to bath-room. Do you put her diapers ? I had not put on that time. Even once she got up because she was very thirsty. She calls water \";mumm\"; . When I said that she started repeating mumm mumm in her sleep.
I guess our babies are ok. you just need to figure out why are they crying ? Nothing to be worried about.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
