Hi,
I´ m a US citizen living and working in India. My husband and I would like to adopt from India. We want to use a US agency. We are in need of an internationally certified social worker preferable here in India, even Delhi if possible. So far, the closest we can find is Germany, meaning we´ d have to pay for them to fly in at least 4 times in addition to all the adoption fees:(

Shrikant replied. Hi. Why don' t you contact US agencies directly and ask them if they operate in India. I' m sure there will be quite a few. If you don' t mind my asking, why are you reluctant to use an Indian agency? The procedure is the same. In fact, an Indian agency may even process your details faster since you are living here.
