My wife and I are married for over 5 years and living abroad. She was diagonized with stage IV endo and undergone several laparoscopy procedures after consulting with different specialists. She has only one tube and ovary left after the other ovary was removed 6 years ago. We have been trying to concive ever since we got married but with no luck. We are going through severe mental pressure. Our reprodcutive endochronologist found out that her only tube is severely blocked (hydrosalphynx) and the ovary has two big chocolate cysts. The doc says she can never get pregnant naturally. He recommends another lap to have the cysts and the tube removed to give a better chance for IVF. This is big shock for us. Imagine losing the only tube at the young age of late twenties. I totally understand how it feels and trying to support her to my level best. The doc says the hydrosalphynx fluid is toxic to the embryo. We are not sure what we are going to do at this time. Has anyone gone through similar experiences? We would prefer not to have the tube removed to give any mirculous chances in the future, however IVF is the only option available at this time. To top it off, I have a low motatily and morphology counts if not worse, in my semen analyis.
