Hi

I am taking Naturogest 300 twice a day through the vagina. It is extremely messy, and there is discharge the whole day. coupled with a medicinal odour. I really dont mind the mess except that I am wondering if the progestrone is getting absorbed or is everything flowing out. I dolie down for an hour after inserting...

i can relate to your problem completely.. i was going through the same issue and to make things worse, i was also feeling extremely sore..

i spoke to my doc and she told me that inserting it vaginally is the best way of taking progesterone coz the medicine gets absorbed into the uterus quicker.. taking it orally is of not much help coz it takes longer to absorb.. so it is worth inserting it for 12 weeks..

you could keep changing your u/w more frequently and ensure you dab off the excess discharge after you visit the loo.. dab lightly.. don' t wipe...
