Hi Neetu,
It is good that they finally found the cause of your itching. Unfortunately for me the results came in too late. The results were in on Thursday, I went to labor on Friday and had my daughter on Saturday. I suffered unnecessorily for 6 weeks. I hope your doc. along with high-rik ob will guide you. Good Luck.

Subject:  This is not a medical advice

Hi Neetu,
I developed severe itching during my pregnancy with my daughter. It started around the same time. My OB too had no idea what was causing it and I suffered a lot. Finally they did a liver function test and found that it was elevated. I developed what is called Cholestasis of Pregnancy. Hence they refered me to a high-risk ob. But I went to labor and delivered my daughter before I could see him.
BY NO MEANS I AM SAYING THAT YOU HAVE CHOLESTASIS of Pregnancy. So this is NO MEDICAL ADVICE. But you can refer this to your OB and see what he thinks. Also this is not a severe condition but is better to get diagnosis and treatment early.
Please talk to your OB.
