Hi taruna,

After reading your post i felt ur expressing my feelings. My baby is 10 months old and she has the same type of sleeping problems.I give her solids around 8:00 PM and formula around 10.pm.Even she wakes up crying and sometimes sits in her sleep. She cries without opening her eyes..i have to put her on my lap and pat her or carry her around the house singing lulabies in the middle of the night.I completly dont understand why she cries. We thought it was gas for few days and used to give mylacon and sometimes i feed her thinking she is hungry, sometimes i just change the diaper and put her in loose clothes..or switch on all the lights and wake her up so that she will play and sleep after sometime. Now we are not letting her sleep after 6pm so that she will sleep better during nights.right now its working out well....lets see whether it continues...If you have any other suggestions please share it with me and if some of our tricks help u I will be very happy...

Suja.

Hi ,

Try to find out bcz of what ur baby is restless.is it due to gas?? or hunger ?? or dream ?? or feeling cold???

if it is gas n ur baby is in BM so check ur diet... lower ur carbo food intake n have more fluids.if u have gas ur baby will develop it.less ur tuvar dal intake...

if ur baby is hungry ...so give little heavy meal in her dinner and ofcz BM at night...

if ur baby is scared in dreams so hug her tightly while she is unrest n make her sleep.make her more comfortable in her sleep...

if ur baby is restless bcz of cold...make her room more cosy than cold and make her put warm clothes.make her bed cosy n keep 2 small bolster near her...

try these n tell us if it help or not
take care
sonu

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
