Hi ,
I agree with Anu .I will also check my patience and if unable to bear then go for epidural.

Sonia,

Good question. I keep thinking about that but could not make a decision on that. I am very scared of labour pains. I will see if i can manage without epidural, if I feel more pain and cannot tolerate, I would probably go for it.

Anu.

Hi,

The thought of labor scares me. I keep asking people how they got to know when they were in labor and how they coped with it.

Since i'm working with a fairly big co. and there are lot of women colleagues around, they all recount their experiences (as you all know that this is one time in a woman's life that she never forgets and takes pride in sharing). Most women who have undergone a normal delivery say "painful" it indeed is, but since all women live thru it, "you would too".

I guess, I would certainly go for a natural delivery...pains or slightly lesser pains...epidural usage cud have its own problems...

Love,
Reena

I hear that one should tell the doctor well in advance if the patient intends to go for a natural dilvery or epidural..wonder whats best for the child and for us?? any ideas to share, anyone here who's been through this process before? would be of great help..

Thanks!!
