Tx gals for replying, well as this is my 1st KC so i too wud be fasting,had a talk with my MIL,so she told me to have fruits n milk thru out the day whenver i feel hungry,not to starve at all, n to have bellyfull of sargi in the morning :))I know it will b li'l difficult without water,but guess,can manage. I wud also consult my Doc on Sunday regd the same.
I wish u gals safe n happy fasting on KC, tk cr of urself n luv ur angels :))

Hi All,

I am from Jan board. I am also confused about karva chauth vrat. I used to keep friday fast, but I eat full meal in evening, and fruits etc in morning time.
This is my 3rd KC, i used to drink water after I see moon and used to take fruits in between. But I am not sure what should I do this time. Whether I should skip as I cant do it properly :(

Golden, ritu sumi you gals will take water after pooja/katha in late noon?

last 4 yrs i did KC with no water till the puja, but this time i can't do that... As if we will be hungry, the baby will remain hungry too...

So i guess i'll be having fruits, milk etc, like you all.

Golden what do u plan to do??

Hi Golden,
I will fasting on karvaChauth.As on the first KC i had some fruits and milk as my mom told me because in case we r not feeling well so we eat that time,so i will have fruits and milk after puja(after story telling).
What abt u?What r u planning for fasting?I know it will be difficult in this time.
BTW it is on 10th OCT.right..

Yes!

Yes Golden, I am planning to... Just talked to my MIL and mom. Both are saying that I should have some fruits/milk etc. after the Pooja in the afternoon. So, planning to do that way only.
What abt you? Are you also fasting? It'll really be very difficult for all of us and our lil ones...
