Due Date Club December 2006:Update...n regd pelvic pain

Hi All

I had severe pelvic pain last week, which subsided in the middle but came up again. I am not able to sleep or lie down comfortably becoz of that. even walking became uneasy. My doctor tols it cud be bcoz of continuous sitting during the office hours / due to urinary infection and gave me some medicines n asked me to take a break and rest. Then it was a bit OK.

But again after 4 days it is still there. So she recommended for a u/s. Yest I went for the u/s and all is well. She told not to worry much and take as much rest as possible and drink lots n lots of water. You know my due date is preponed to 24th november now(previously Dec 2nd)...and the baby weight is 2096 gms at 32 weeks. I don't know if it is the correct weight at 32 weeeks. The doctor told its ok and all is well with the baby.
Hope all others are enjoying their last weeks of pregnancy and all the kids are kicking them well...

Raji

Hi Raji,

I too have been sufering from pelvic pain, since early on. I know what you mean when u say difficulty in walking, sleeping etc... To top it my bedroom is upstairs so i have to climb the stairs 3-4 times in a day.

Well my dr told me that it is very normal as its just that our muscles are stretching and preparing for the birth.

You could try wearing support panty hose. and/or Since you are in your 32 weeks you could start massaging your perineum with some coconut/almond oil. It will give you some relief and also help with the birth later. Atleast that's what my ob/gyn told me. You might wanna consult yours.

Hope it helps.
Take care.
