Name: Prasant Padhi I am 30 and my wife is 25. We trying for a baby since 1 year but in vain. After diagnosys, we found that my wife is in PCOS and me with low sperm motility. Giving birth to a baby becomes a distance dream as both of us are in infertile situation. Can these problem be treated? I found a big no for sperm motility problem (asthenospermia) in a website \";http://www dot drmalpani dot com/asthenospermia dot htm\"; and started developing a harsh feelling inside. Please help....................

Thanks a ton in advance. falak replied. hi, my husband has asthenospermia and i have pcos and conceived within 9 months of our marriage so dont lose hope, just see that your wife' s weight is normal and eat a balanced diet. all the best... gayathri replied. i too have the same problem. now i am undergoing treatment in india. i am undergoing weight reduction program as pcos puts on lot of weight and very hard to reduce. my hubby is taking \";lycogold\"; which helps in good sperm count.so, do not worry. always have a positive thinking.this will help both of you .

Both ur conditions r very treatable ..for Pcos it has nothing to do with infertility as my sister was diagnoised with it & had a baby with 9 mth s of being married ..as for ur problem try this \"; fertility blend\"; i dont know if its availble in india but it is in usa & from experince i can tell u that it works..they give u money back gaurantee if it doesnt show any results in 4 mths or so..after all it takes only one sperm to make a baby.. x replied. Low motlity is not as prob. as long as you have sufficient amt of healthy sperm. U could go for IUI where the semen sample is examined and the healthy sperm selected and injected into the woman's vagina with a catheder. In India it is not too expensive. With the help of IVF[ICSI], even if your have 1 healthy sperm, it is injected dirctly in your wifes egg, developed in a tube for a few days and put back in her uterus. But this is a more expensive and invasive procedure.
Have faith. Explore these options and see what suits u best.
