Hi Everybody,

On last Monday, Sept 28, 2015 I had done tonsure on the banks of Godavari, Nashik on the eve of start of Pritrupaksha before performing the tarpan for my later father's anniversary. On Sunday, 27.09.2015, we both visited TRIMBAKESHWAR on account of Sinhastha Kumbha Mela and bathed in the pond called "KUSHAVARTA", a really nice experience.

After tonsure, which has been done very very smooth as usual, we both had a bath in the Godavari River (dakshin kashi Ganga), also had a tarpan and again bathed after the tarpan and witnessed the "SHAHI SNAN" of one of the Guru, a fantastic experience to watch, had clipped the photos too, a memorable one for a life time.

The tonsure is very smooth, I am enjoying the same and happy.

So you are very happy for making tonsure or head shave or mottai. It would be very comfort for you with tonsure.Can you share your experiences us with us. So are you going to do tonsure for every month know. sakshi replied. hi girishji i am reading your posts about tonsuring your head since long time. it seems you are quite religious man who attend all the rituals strictly and attend kumbhamela and all things. i would like to know what you do by profession? and i personally feel the great kumbhamela should be stop they all pollute water and lot of mess in Nashik city. i don't know where in heaven they go by doing kumbha snan how anybody can go to that dirty water in kunda which is polluted by so many people bathed in it. ridiculous. no offence. this is my personal opinion. subray p hegde replied. Hi,Girishji, No answer from you sincelong time.I hope since it is over 2 months your tonsure is done at Nashik I hopeyou once more.Pl inform. I also since my wife is not objecting started to get tonsure every month or once in one aand half month without fail. Barber is also very happy to do full shave with shikha left as it is and uses razor freely and on up to down and reverside and makes my head shining like brass coated. I will use coconut oil for some days after headshave which again make the head shining. My wife is also very much interested to touch the smooth gundu head and telling you accostomed to this and when are you going for cropcut. However she is not objecting and when barber comes to home she will give him tea immediately and supply water for rinsing the hair. If I am backside of the house she will call me and say barber has come,you need not make him waiting.She also asks him for shortest cuts to children,a very good development. subray p hegde replied. Hi Girisji,It is glad to note that you had smooth tonsure at the Bank of Godavari river in Nashik.What is the amount they are taking now for tonsure? I saw in video that there barbers are keeping tuft very short and what we have to do for our long shikha to be left as it is.What happened for you in this regard as I am also intends to go to Nashik and have headshave there during 2016.Is there compulsory to get sankalpa ,etc before tonsure and bath or straight away we can have tonsure and bath.and get darshan of lord triyambakeshwar.Pl insorm Nagaratna replied. Hi Girishji,It is glad that you had been to Nashik and got tonsure there.I have seen some Nasik Tonsure videos in youtube which are very much beautiful. Regarding my husbands tonsure I got him tponsured during this pitrapaksha at home.He was not ready but I called the barber on 11th Sunday previous day of amavasya and asked him to get full tonsure with shikha left as it is which he was reluctant but barber also convinced him this year also as was done in last year in front of panditji.This time it was smooth got and I am enjoying to see him with tonsured head. Next time onwards I have to search for some reason
