This being the first of our child, we were very anxious about whole process however the way Dr. Kulkarni handles both pregnancy and delivery aspects made it a memorable experience for us. This being the first of our child, we were very anxious about whole process however the way Dr. Kulkarni handles both pregnancy and delivery aspects made it a memorable experience for us. Whenver you consult a gynae, check if they are also Obstetricians, otherwise, there will be another doc at the end of the 9 months, and as you realise, there may not be much time to study your case.

Dr. Jyothi Unni is quite stern and serious, but she is an amazing doctor. She will give you all the right advice right through your nine months, and when its time for the delivery, she will put her 100% to enable you to have a natural birth. She will only do a C-sec if there are no options available.

It' s my personal experience. She doesn' t take any chances when it comes to both mother and baby.

My baby' s heart had stopped beating. But, we didn' t know it. She didn' t let me go back home, but said that the baby' s heart rate should be monitored for a good half hour. During that time we realised that his heart rate had dropped. If it was any other doc who would have told me to go home, then I cannot even imagine the outcome. Mel replied.
