We have been trying for 5 years now, and the doctor has advised me that I need to go in for an ivf. Can somebody please tell me their experience? Lakshmi replied. I went through 3 cycles of IVF, atlast attempt was Frozen cycle so with that got pregnant. It was a painful process but when one get pregnant this pain is nothing.
U can go ahead with this treament, can become pregnant in first attempt if ur estrodial level in blood is as the drs want to be. shashi replied. i have gone through one ivf cycle. will go through the next one in one month. the first one i got oversupressed and only put in a couple of embryo's.

ivf is pretty stressful and quite expensive. it is not painful but very invasive. we are diagonesed with unknown infertility so don't really know what else to do. my doctor has asked me to try 3 times befor giving up.

there is also a group in yahoo for people going through ivf. it has a lot of members and is extremely helpful if you are interested.

Don't worry at all. I am a mother of a de3lightful pair of twin girls, all becasue of ivf. It can be a little expensive on the wallet for sure. But then why do go to work, why do you make money? Isn't it because you want to be happy in life. So I would definietly suggest you should go in for all these artificial methods, becasue afterall the CHILD IS YOURS!

Best of Luck IVF

I am so sorry Siri...When i didnt see your reply for a long time i thought it worked for you. My heart goes out to you. hi suman actually my case is different ,even my pregnency test itself is negative, so no question of losing. hi dolly thanks for your concern,ya you are right don't lose your hope, even i was on clomid for 4 cycles and IUI that didn't workout for me so after that i went to IVF, b/c i don't want to waste my time , but even this time also i got some problems while doing the process of IVF, actually i got severe OHSS (ovarian hyper stimulation) so i was admitted in the hospital for 5 days, it happened the day after my eggretreival, so my embryo transfer was postponed, and my embryos were frozen, after i recover again i went for frozen embryo transfer cycle even that didn't work out for me. so this is what life, but i still have hope b/c i am young, i trust in god. so this is very frustating situation, but we have to live with hope, my advise is be positive, that will hepl you, i feel relief by telling all these. once again thanks again

unfortunately i am not , i don't know the reason b/c i haven't gone to the doctor after that, i was really in shock
b/c its a really expensive process, we spent almost 13000$ and lot of stress, and the result is negative,so now i am not in the mood of consulting the doctor again, anyways we have to try. so i still have hope.
