first time mom

Hi,
I am also expecting a baby next July. I had a scan last week. Doctors were expecting the fetal pole and heart beat to show up during the 6th week. But I dint show up the fetal pole. Just the gestation sac and yolk sac was found. The doctors told me that technically I was 5 weeks preg even though date wise I was 6 weeks. I have to go for a rescan next week. So am keeping my fingers crossed.

hi yagnalakshmi,
dont worry. things are perfect. the same with me too. see we calculate with the period cycle. but we really dont know when ovulation really takes place. so the scan tells u exactly by the size of the fetus. all the best. enjoy ur pregnancy...stay +ve....ur baby will feel all that u feel...

Hi,
I had my scan last week, I am 7 weeks pregnant, but as per the foetal developement I am 6 weeks. Nothing to worry though... things will be fine.

hi 2nd time mom

thats good to know. i am still having evening sickeness. feel very sleepy during the day. but i try to stay awake cause i find it difficult to sleep in the night. i took a scan 3 weeks ago everything is alright. next check up is on 21st dec. even i feel very hungry now and then. if i dont eat something when i feel hungry i get this gastric problem...i feel so uneasy the whole day. cant wait for the 4th month i think things will get better. i have to take care of my weight too. i am very overweight...i had a normal delivery for my first hoping to have normal for this one too...

Hi Nats,
Congrats to you too. My first one is also a girl, she is also extremely happy having a sibling. She says she is going to do everything for the baby except changing diaper :)- , In my first pregnancy I had lot of nausea & morning sickness. Luckily this time, so far I dont have much nausea, but feel extremely tired though.

hi girl,
congrats on ur pregnancy. me too this is my second baby. i had my first one 4yrs back. so my family is very happy. and my daughter just cant wait to meet her baby sis or bro...and she even told me not to worry she will do everything for the baby...so i am happy she is excited too.
these days i have evening sickness. and heaviness in my chest...well, i am hoping all this go away after my 3rd month...so how are u feeling..keep in touch..god bless
