Q: I am 28 years and pregnant. My first child is 15 months old and I still breastfeed him. Doctors advised me to stop breastfeeding. How can I stop? What is the reason that I should I stop? Bela (Calicut, India) |
A: It is advisable to stop breastfeeding now as this can put a risk to your present pregnancy and cause a miscarriage. Please consult your gynaec for the medications to stop breast milk from getting produced. However, the milk should stop on its own, once you stop breastfeeding. |
