  Kids & Food: soft chappati for lunch box- how?

i have tried chappati' s they like to have them when i make at home . but they become hard and stiff for the box to xchool. how can i make them soft and smooth ewven when it cools.

any wheat flour
1-2 pinches of salt
1-2 pinches of sugar
2 tea spoons of ghee
mix with boiling water

Initially use a spoon to mix since you will use boiling water, and then make dough with hand only.

With this even if you make chapathi' s for lunch, it will be soft, not dry at all.

In this way, no need to prepare dough the previous night also. Fresh dough will serve the purpose.

For making soft chapatis you should add milk and some hot oil before kneading the dough.

knead it using piping hot boiling water n make chappathis..the dough shud not b too thick after kneading.

Hey .. First of all note for how long baby would be present in day care. Based on that pack the food. Boiled n cooled milk can be GI end in Tupperware water bottle.
