Due Date Club July 2008:Due date from ultrasound
2008-06-09
Name: Priya

Hi

My due date was determined as 28th July from the LMP which was 21/10/2007. I had an u/s scan on Saturday at 33 weeks and the scan is showing the EDD as 5th July!.
Furthermore it says the gestation corresponds to 36 weeks! In fact the weight and other measurements indicae 36 weeks. Can anyone tell me if this is a cause for worry? Or is it just that the baby is bigger than normal at 33 weeks which is why the scan has calculated like this?

Priya,
I' m a mother of 2month old baby. My due date given was 27th April but I delivered on 13th i.e, 2 weeks before itself. So, don' t expect that you will deliver on the date given by scan results.Usually scan results at a later stage of pregnancy may be erraneous since baby inside is growing and it may not give exact results. Calculate by urself approx. from your last month period and be prepared 2-3 weeks b4 itself.
Don' t bother much about your dates. Be calm and once you enter 9th month..be ready for D day. Nobody can tell when exactly the \" Little Angel\" will be born. It' s all in the hands of GOD.So just forget all d worries and enjoy this moment.
