Due Date Club September 2008:sleeplessness

Name: shalaka hi girls
have started my 36 weeks and am facing severe sleeplessness :(
it' s not that my back is hurting or i need to pee often
but i either wake up every 2-3 hrs or once i have woken up can' t easily get back to sleep
i guess it' s nature' s way of preparing us for being alert for the baby
last i couldn' t sleep at all..
feeling very low because i keep thinking why don' t i get sleep
would be heartening to kno if others are experiencing similar symptoms in the last month...
healthwise i am doing perfectly fine..

Hi Shakala,

Sleeplessness is there for me from the start and its becoming worse day by day. i am in my 39th week and i can count how many days i have slept the whole night. other than that, me too doing good(touchwood). Yes, That is true, its the body' s way of getting us ready for our life with baby :-)
