Take poha ia pan, sprinkle little water..keep aside. Take finely chopped onion, tomato, carrot, cabbage & mix it with poha. Add lemon juice, salt & sugar as per ur taste in the above mixture. For giving tadaka , add 1 tablespoon oil in a small kadai ... add jeera, cumin seeds...let them crack...add curry leaves...finely chopped green chilli...spread this on the poha mixture.... mix well.

hi
poha is a very versatile and easy dish to prepare...u can add watever is available at hand. first add some mustard seeds to hot oil to make them poop and then saute some chopped onions, cabbage and carrots. u can also add curry leaves if u wish. saute till onions are translucent. soak poha in a little warm water and drain. add poha to the veggies and cook on low flame for abt 3-4minutes. add salt to taste and a little chilli powder. (turmeric pwdr if u wanna change teh color of ur poha) you can put roasted peanuts to add crunch to the dish. garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

RE:Need suggestions about food to daycare
See no matter what you give him in the tiffin he won't be able to enjoy it as it would be cold and cold food is never tasty. You can do one thing that inquire for tiffin services and have the food delivered in the afternoon.... - Ashna [View Message]

RE:Breakfast options for 2 year old
Try making different things like parathas or oats for them. Some days you can make pancakes or crepes for them too. Bring different cereals for them and see what do they like and would probably continue with it for a long time.... - Hardika [View Message]
RE:Need suggestions about food to daycare
Food is very important for a child's growth and he should be given his meals properly at proper times so why don't you hire a caretaker who will take care of your kid and also can cook meals for him instead of sending him to a daycare.... - Ashna [View Message]
