Due Date Club September 2008:Pelvic pain

Name: aaradhana Hi all,

I am in my 29th week now. I am getting pelvic pain on and off. I get some sharp pain when I try to get out of the bed in the morning. some times I get the pain even when I am walking

Is anyone of you facing this problem? Do you think I need to be concerned and contact my doc immediately? or is it normal in pregnancy?

dont worry aaradhana....its normal....you shouldnot get fast or move fast.....turn slowly....take time and move. I am also facing the same problem, infact i have this pelvic pain if i sit in one place for long and try to get up suddenly. also when getting up from bed, changing sides...etc. Inform your doctor though, but it is common.

Hi aaradhana,
I agree with Jichi.....i have a similar pain and sometimes tears run down in that pain but after having some rest it reduces.........as jichi said no too much standing sitting or even cant sleep on 1 side for much time.
But just inform ur doctor as mine said it is normal and can take tylenol if i wish.
