Gauri, I hope you grow up really quick. Because the thought of you getting pregnant, having a baby....is just too scary for words.I fully agree with Verne and MM. \" Foolish\" was a mild adjective to use for you....

one more thing.
According to all medical literature, and in all medical schools, there is a fixed plan of evaluation. Ofcourse in India you do not see this kind of evaluation, but of India, it is quite common. And during exams we are asked to follow the protocol.
This information is only a guideline. it is not supposed to be used by anyone but a doctor.
Most importantly, since there are so many fields in Medicine like Cardiology, Gynnecology, every field has a slightly different way of checking a patient. Below is a set rules of examination for a general physician and other doctors as well.
Protocols of Case History and Patient COndition Evaluation.

First patients are asked about their complaints. Then their age and occupation. After that any history of any disease in the patient, in his family. Type of vaccinations. Any disease that he/she currently has.If any operations or any immune system depressing conditions have occured in the recent past.

1. Check the orientation of the patient, talk to them, see their gait, their responses.
2. Check their face, skin for pathologies, and entire body for any structural defects or bone defects.
3. Check heart beat, pulse ( in case the patient has cardiological complaints, do a thorough exam of Cardiological system). Blood pressure is checked.
4. Check any pathologies in the lungs, respiration rate, check its correspondence with heart beat rate ( in case patient has lung problems, then thorough examination of lungs). Cough and sputum is checked.
5. Gastrointestinal problems, palpate the stomach, ask patient about urine, stools and vommiting. Ask patient what he had eaten or any history of gastric diseases in family.
6. Kidney diseases. Palpate lumbar region, ask patients for complains during urination or localisation of pain. Type of urine, type of pain present in Kidney region.
7. Gyn/Obs : In case its a gynecology problem, a thorough history taking. Questions about sexual life, bimanual examination of the vagina and uterus. Maybe swab maybe taken for bacteria culture. Ultrasound or HSG might be taken too.
If its Obstetrics: Ask about last menstrual date, about complaints, about previous history of labour, type of labour, c-section or not, congenital diseases. History of PCOD or any hormonal problems.
8. Endocrinology : General examination of entire body, various questions about various body parts. Evaluation of hormone levels in lab tests.
9. Haematology : Questions about weakness, taste in mouth, gastric diseases or operations. Haemorrahges, family history of hemophilia or bleeding or gastric problems.
10. Infection : Examination of patients current status. Examination of stomach, stools , urine. Questions about what food or liquid they drank, or what they touched or which epidemic disease they came in contact with.

And So on and so forth. I hope this information is useful to you.
After all these questions, then you are supposed to go the labratory to get tests done.
The most common tests for all the organ systems are:
1. BLood count
2. X- Ray
3. Ultrasound/ CT/ MRI
4. Urine tests
5. Stool Tests
6. Hormone level tests
7. Detailed Blood report, serum reports.
8. bacteria culture to determine infection.

so on and so forth.
Remember, that generally without a lab analysis, a doctor cannot make a perfect and final diagnosis. Generally it takes them 2 lab analysis to make a final diagnosis.

So hopefully you should understand why these questions are important.

since your GD GTT tests are fine, you dont have to worry much. Remember stress is a bigger cause of diabetes. Even though you are a at a slightly higher risk of getting GD, you can eat sweet stuff, but control it. Dont eat too much sweet stuff. Keep doing GTT tests regularly. If you have any unusual symptoms, report to your doctor immediately.
Eat good fibre food. Eat less junk food, or less artificial sweetened food. Fruits are a better option. Hope this helps.

it seems your facts are dumb and foolish.
feeling hungry doesnt mean eating everything and anything. eat healthy. first of all , dont bring yourself to the stage of becoming hungry.
Always eat once in 4 hours. Eat good healthy food, avoid fats and sugars.
Always take good nutrition, especially vitamins and minerals.
Go to the doctor regularly, take scans, and ANSWER TO ALL THE QUESTIONS your doctor asks.
A doctor does not have idle time to do idle chat. A doctor will not waste time in asking you useless questions, trust me, their time is more important and precious than wasting it on asking questions to someone like you.
So if your doctor asks you something, and you feel its a weird question, you can ask the doctor why he/she is asking it. If they have enough time and are patient enough, they will explain everything.

Most of us doctors should usually spend an hour with the patient, thats the ideal way to evaluate a patient completely. But in India, there are so many patients, that doctors see them for 5 minutes and send them out. Which is not correct. If you cant ask the right questions, you cant put the right diagnosis.

So there is a reason why your doctor asks you these questions. There are no ulterior motives. THe doctor doesnt care about your personal lives, they wont ask you questions to waste their or your time.

you think those are useless questions?
1. they will ask you if your delivery was c-section or not, because you might have had pathologies or a narrow pelvis or placental detachment or a 100 things that must have caused fetus distress.

if you have diabetes, you need to be careful about developing hydroaminion, or giving your fetus diabetes, or worse, eclampsia. In eclampsia, both you and your fetus could die. So its very important for your doctor to ask these questions.
Gauri whoever you are, you seem to be a very foolish and dumb woman. It looks like you apparently dont have a care for pregnant woman or for health babies. If you make wrong decisions, you will be a very bad mother.

i think everyone DOES know who the fool is. You cant even understand the simple facts why the doctor asks you such simple but important questions.
You think its a time waste? those questions will save you and your baby´ s life. Bur if you dont choose to answer them and have complications, then its all your fault.
