Did you know that there's a beauty parlour hiding in your kitchen?
Working women have it tough. In between rushing to work and back, juggling
car pools, co-ordinating with baby sitters, cooking and house-keeping,
they scarcely have time to take a deep breath. As far as visits to the
beauty parlour are concerned, they are at the bottom of the priority ladder!
But fear not, help is at hand.
Take a look around your kitchen shelf. You'll be surprised at what you
find. Did you know that tomato and lime are excellent bleaching agents?
And this is just the tip of the 'ice' berg. Find out more as you read on.
1. Unboiled milk is an excellent cleanser. Dip a piece of cotton
wool in a little cold milk and rub it gently on your face. You will see
a lot of dirt on the cotton. Keep cleaning your face in a circular upward
movement until the cotton comes out completely clean.
2. Ice-cold water is an excellent astringent and skin freshener
and serves to close the pores that have opened while cleansing. It also
tones the skin.
3.Cream or 'malai' is a very good moisturizer and it needs to
be applied to replace the oils that are lost while cleansing and toning.
It will keep your skin supple and young.
4. Equal quantities of corn flour, jowar flour (atta) and cream (malai)
can give you an instant facelift. You need to make a paste and apply
it on your face. Wash it off after it dries. While jowar atta will remove
the dead cells, corn flour will tone up and tighten the skin and the cream
will moisturize it.
5. Cabbage juice mixed with a little yeast and a tablespoon of honey
is an excellent remedy for dry skin. Leave a thick paste on your face
for about 15 minutes for best results.
6. Lettuce juice mixed with an equal quantity of rose water and a few
drops of limejuice is an excellent remedy for oily skin. It should
be applied for at least 30 minutes for best results. |

I am caucasion and used to have very light skin. As I aged and had babies my skin became darker also. I miss my light skin too. Please allow those who like the look of lighter skin to be. Don't be angry with them for wanting lighter skin. It is a personal preference for some women today not a racist thing. Some like darker skin. It really doesn't matter. It would be nice for all to love what they have, and not pick on each other for wanting lighter or darker skin.
As for the stretch marks, pimples, etc I really believe that outside of genetics the things that help are keeping the liver healthy with gentle internal cleansings and keeping the blood strong. Getting the blood flowing with gentle massage will also help the stretch marks. The energy from your own palms can heal your skin. Sometimes just listening to music is enough to heal the skin. For zits simple dandelion tea or capsules can help. Put some of the herb on the pimple too.
For the mind at night imagine blue, white or gold light flooding you entire body and skin. Tell yourself you will not suffer anymore and abundant health, wealth and beauty is your birthright. I know it may sound corny, but tell yourself you love yourself. You are lovable. Start with that every night and see what happens. I have to do it too! You and your skin will thank you!

Comments: The remedy to fair skin is to use strong bleaching products such as benoquin, mequinol, and hydroquinone. Also stay out of the sun and always use sun block of at least 40 SPF(even on cloudy days). Don't forget chemical peels and exfoliating. If you want fair skin, go to a good and understanding dermatalogist.
To those who say that these people should accept their dark skin:
Most Indian, Asian, and black men prefer fair skinned women. Also, light skin looks better and is considered beautiful. This is the main reason why most women of color do not want to be dark skinned.

Comments: For lighter skin apply aloe vera gel on face. It refreshes the skin and removes tanning due to sun burn.
For pimple, acne and oily skin always wash your face 3-4 times a day with water and mild soap. Apply lemon juice with 5-6 drops of water over face and remove after 10-15 min. But lemon juice should not be applied continuously for months and months as it darkens the skin. Take steam once in a two weeks. Clean pores. Apply good astringent and then rub ice over face
For pores on face, take ice cubes in thin cloth and rub over face. This closes all pores.

Especially the one that is mainly for red eyes... if that doesn't work, vinegarand water mixed together can work as well. I had the same problem and washing my fash once in morning n night and applying the eyedrops on right after helped. anyways if that doesn't help i am sorry for wasting your time and do not forget to give it some time about a month. hope it helps.

Comments: I am 45 and very recently, now that I live in the desert, nothing seems to releive extrimely dry skin on my forehead, nose and ears. It is not itchy or red, just regular color and VERY flaky, all the time no matter what I do. I cannot put on topical steroid cream like halo-g because it would agrivate my bipolar disorder. I know that my thyroid levels are not quite evened out.. but why is it in patches on one side of my forehead (not from contact with my hands or anything I can think of...) And NO moisturizer, not Sothy's or Mary Kay, not glycerin not anything topical is working. And I know I do NOT use too much soap, because I am careful not to do much of that either. I have spent weeks at a time using nothing but water and a washcloth, then weeks using a gentle moisturizing face soap, then weeks using a gritty face scrup... nothing changes.
I think it is hormonal or caused maybe by a new medicine, trileptal. What can I do? I'm getting VERY wriinkled where the dry patches are and looking far beyond my 45 years rather suddenly... and maybe permanently.
I am at a loss.

Comments: Hi maggie....u shouldnt cover your problem prone skin with make up......u need good skin first then make up u wont need too much of.Firstly i think you should see your gp and ask him for advice or medication.see what he says.....keeping your skin clean by washing it am and pm is a must.a really good skin cleanser is by MD formulations...it contains a small amount of glycolic acid which clears up skin..evens out skintone and tightens up pores used regularly...u should use a good facemask once or twice a week.......u have dry flaky skin so u should use once a week.....try applying fresh tomato on your skin for ten mins then rinse with cold water...drink loads a water and no junk food....first c your gp see what he can advise or give you......my younger sister had really bad acne she took dianette for a year which is a contraceptive pill but is used for skin problems too.she now has no acne just scarring but she is going to have laser treatment for scarring,all za best!

Comments: Dark patches on the skin are called pigmentation. They are often caused by excess hormones in the body. When these patches of skin which are hormone heavy are exposed to sunlight they darken more than the rest of the skin. If the body is not flushing them out through the digestive system then the body has to get rid of them another way and that is excrete them through the skin. Pigmentation shows up more on the face and the backs of the hands than anywhere else because they get more sun exposure. How to prevent it? Drink at least 2 litres of water a day and you ABSOLUTELY MUST WEAR SUNBLOCK EVERY DAY and dont forget to reapply in the middle of the day. There are two ways to reduce the visiable signs of it. The natural way is to use Castor oil at night (but if you get zits this may be to much oil) It will take 6 to 8 months to get results. Castor oil is slow but it is natural and cheap. The other way is to use a hydroquinone, salicylic acid and padimate cream (John Plunketts Superfade cream is one) This stuff is basically paint stripper for the face should be used with caution! But it does work in around 6 to 8 weeks. But if you dont wear sun block the pigmentation will just come back regardless. So wear sunblock every single day, wear a hat and drink lots of water. Good luck and remember the most important beauty is on the inside.

Mix both the mixture by making a paste, apply it on the face then let it dry. Once dried wash it with cold or normal water. Try to do it every night before going to bed. Only if you have an oily skin, you can apply it every night but if you have a dry skin. Try to apply the same as per your convenience as Multani Mitti makes the face slightly, so just take care. Leave them be, dont hurt them at this young age. For dry skin, exfoliant is best, oh and a mask with mango as a product is the best, use once weekly, and don't wash face too often, the most it should be 3 times a day, and never rub or touch your face too much, moisterizours are good, but for olier people, use a nongreasy one..Sun screen is a must, for wrinkles and puffyness and blackness, use cucumbers and any eye brightner you prefer..for dark knees, scrub them, and make sure..for people who wax or shave (waxing is better)..get the hair that is under the skin out..and moisturize..Do not shave, shaving makes hair corse and dark..waxing is the best, along with threading..for thin hair on the head, use oils, almond, jasmine or olive..for a night, and then wash out gently, dont use condtioners on roots, only on tips..or else hair gets too soft adn falls out..also wash hair with lukewarm water, and then blast it with cold water to close up the shafts and make the hair shinier..and girls who wear makeup, dont put shimmer underneath the eyes, because it causes people's attentions to focus on the darkness or wrinkles..use glitter on cheesk to brighten the face and eyes..lemon is good for acne scars, but dont rub, just wash softly..for acne on back and chest, scrub your skin softly, and apply aleo vera..for cracked feet, exfoliate often and rub any oil or balm you like..use a pumice rock...for dark lips, use lipchap that has a tint of red..so it looks natural..peopel with short eyelashes, curl them to define them,...ok I forgot what else people asked..anyways..if you are going to get married soon all you ladies,,do you think your guy would have proposed if he thought you ugly??
