    Toddler concerns

I am a mother of a 6 month old and till now my kid is having a normal development. But I am concerned about developmental delays in kids. I know it is too early for me to be concerned but I just want to know how I can know that there is a speech problem in my kid.

You are unnecessarily concerned. If you kid has normal development, then there is nothing to be concerned of. In future also the development would be normal. Best of Luck.

There are some signs by which you can know if there is a developmental delay in your kid. If by 7th month, the child does not respond to loud noises, then it means that he has some problem. By a year, if the child is not able to say a single word, then this is a matter of concern.

You should be concerned if by the age of two years your kid is unable to speak at least 15 words or can only imitate speech
