Born in Calcutta and brought up amidst the cultural ambience of Uttar Pradesh, Shampa imbibed Sur and Taal much before she learnt to read and write.
She began her career at the prestigious Bhatkhnade University of Lucknow and completed her Masters Degree in Music with Honours. |
