hi archie n others.
i went for 7 months check up on 20 dec. as of now all under control except for placenta. doctor was still suspecting it might be low as baby is in high position/level he said. final scan will be on 4 jan and then they will decide. i will have to do blood test on the same day he said just to confirm the status of hb as am thallesamia minor. praying to god that all will go smoothly. my due is feb 27 and am in abudhabi. all the best for all of u. bye. fairy

dear fairy,
baby position is not best measure of placenta location. The best bet is ultrasound, which you will know on January 4th.
My boy was high positioned right until I went in labor but placenta was upward right from the beginning of second trimester. I don't think that's best judgement though.

thanks archie for your reply. am praying to god that hope all will be ok. last time my hb count was 8.4 at 5 months. but by god's grace till now there is no bleeding and no probs of whatsoever. my parents will be coming on 28 jan (prior one month of delivery). merry x-mas and happy new year wishes to u and your family.fairy
