I understand your situation as me also gone through a similiar situation one year before. I got job after lot of search and there was a wow taken by my mom for shaving my head. I've undergone headshave and it was a nice experience.

You may be fearful due to the following reasons.

Will the headshave lead to any scratches accidentally..?
Will the hair grow again..?
How can I face the society , family n friends etc.

The barbers in temples are well experienced in shaving both ladies and gents hair and so no need to worry. There wont be any pain while headshaving. It is a nice experience when all hair goes off from head and you will feel cool on your head.

The barbers will put sandal on head after headshave which will help to keep head cool and it will grow hair faster.Also after headshave, hair will grow within the next day itself and within three months, there will be around four-five inches of hair.

Society wont think anything after headshave. It is a religious custom and nobody will be teasing you/making fun of you. People will be looking at you, never mind it. You cant live satisfying society always. Friends or relatives may be making fun of you, take it as a fun as you also may be doing the same with them.

I had my headshave in palani temple last year. Hair grown to around shoulder length within six months. But I felt that boycut was easy to maintain compared to long hair. During headshaved days, I dont spent much time on my hair due to busy work. It became a habit and when hair has grown, I couldnt spend much time. So I cut hair in a saloon and now maintaining boycut.

hello sister first up all congrats for you gave birth to baby boy. You told that your mil asking you to do shave your head as a women it was pain to lose your hair but it's a god vow for your son na so don't feel sister for doing your headshave sister so go happily and do your headshave sister BYE TC
