Dear Friends,

I have a sad news to share with all of you. i was diognised to have Ectopic Pregnancy (i.e. Embryo embedding in the Fallopian Tube instead of the Uterus) and my pregancy had to be terminated at 11 Weeks.

I know that God has a reason for doing this and he will certainly one day bless me with the opportunity to experience the joys of motherhood.

It was great to meet all of you on this board. I wish you and your families the very best and May you cherish every moment of the pregnancy & enjoy the baby grow!

Thank you for your support and prayers. I am trying to cope with the loss reminding myself that God is the creator and he has a definte plan for everything! Yet, sometimes i do feel sad for all that i had to go thru.

Payal, its really unfortunate that i could not get a appt with a ob/midwife till 26th March and at my first appt itself they sent me for a ultrasound which i luckyly got it on 27th and by 28th they had performed laproscopy to take care of the ectopic pregnancy.

Just about a week before that i suffered from acute abdominal pain and cramps like spasms through out the body but unfortunately since it was a first pregnancy i thought maybe it will pain so because the muscles try to strech etc...and so did my FP suggest that i should do some stretch exercises and wait to see the ob/mid-wife at the soonest. She had told me if i see bright red bleeding then i should rush to ER immediately. Fortunately or unfortunately i did not see any bleeding till tuesday 27th and the drs took the necessary course of action.

For any new first timers or trying to conceive women, i would only advice that try to get an appt with ur ob/gyn / certified nurse mid-wife somewhere between 6-8 weeks of your pregnancy to make sure everythign is going fine with you.

Was really sad to hear that.But as you said God has his own reasons but we have to keep the faith and be strong and one day (which will be soon) I am sure he will bless you again with a beautiful child.

Sad to hear the news but as u said i too strongly feel there must be a positive side in God' s plans for u in this too which we fail to understand. No words can make better ur loss, so just put this away and i' m sure u' ll have another healthy pregnancy very soon. We all will pray for you.

im so sorry for ur loss .i can very well understand ur emotions as mine was an ectopic too before this one.but how come ur doc took so long to detect it,mine was dioganised at 5 wks itself when the preg test came positive but in ultra sound there was no sac in the uterus .anyways dotn worry soon u will concieve again n have a healthy preg.so did u have to go through a laproscopy or what.
