C-Section:period after child birth

I gave birth a child 35 days back by c-section.I recovered very fast and the bleeding stopped after 3 weeks.However after 5 weeks of child birth, i have started bleeding again.There is no blood clot and it seems as if normal periods has started.
Please let me know is it normal to have periods after just 5 weeks of child birth by c-section.I am also having a strong sexual urge though yet to start having intercourse.Please advise and share your views.

Are you breastfeeding? If not, your period will come back much faster than if you were. I am still breastfeeding and my baby is five months, I have yet to get my period. If you are really concerned, you should go to the doctor and make certain that you are having your period and not hemmoraging etc.

Thanks rashpal.Yes I am breastfeeding.In the meantime,aftre I posted my message, my bleeding has stopped just after 5 days and it seems it was a normal period. I also contacted my doctor and he opined that in some case, if the patient's body very quickly regains normalcy,the period may come after one month.Thanks anyway for your reply.
