Anybody knows about side effects of thyroid on feotus?? I've got thyroid. Anybody went thru' TSH Test? Pls. help.....

Hi Sumi

How are u? When I did my first blood test I found that my THS level is high. means my thyroid level is lower. Doctor gave me Thyroid supplyment which is called syntheroid. I take 50mcg of syntheroid. When I did my secound blood test my thyroid was little bit excess,but now its under controlled.
My doctor tolled me it does not effect on your baby it may effect on u.
But I gone through some sites I found out if thyroid level is less baby's I. Q. may drop by 8%.
But donnt worry start for the suppliment from doc. prescribe. And u have to check your THS level every 2 months.
