On June 9th I had told that I and my daughters would get boycuts in September. Somehow we could not keep the date. This Saturday, my co-sis told that if we did not get boycuts immediately, she herself would shave our heads. It was more of a loving command showing her deep love and concern for us than any reproach. Hearing that I giggled and she joined in the giggle. So on Sunday (19th), the three of us marched to the barbershop and got our boycuts similar what we had a year ago - clippered all around and short on top. The two girls are enjoying the feel of the nice clipper cut on their napes. My colleagues are all smiles again looking at my clipper boy cut. Our next Tirupati mottai will be May/June 2016. But in summer of 2015, we plan to shave off the heads of Preethi and Neethi with clippers. raghav replied. hello jalaja,

i was done mottai in this month, and keep boy cut, means not proper boy cut, i was keep short hair, and it feel comfortable feeling to me, and my hair have fast growth, so there is no need to worry. swapnil replied. hello jalaja,

every three years our family go to tirupati for darshan and we decide there about head shave, so my elder sister was suddenly to head shave, and i was shocked and look at her. ansari replied. hello jalaja,

its good that you try new hairstyle with you hair everytime, because if you cut hair, they will be grow again so nothing risk in that, but you have to keep enough patience in this process, so enjoy your hairstyle. Some people like to have long hair while some of them like to have boy cut which perfectly gives them a good look as desired. Hardika replied. I remember when i had gone to tirupati last july with my family, all of a sudden everyone decided to get their heads shaved and initially i had said no because i did not like the idea but then they convinced me. Jalaja replied. We all went to Tirupati in end April for the biennial mini family mottai, similar to what we had in June 2014. Preethi, now 16, put a strange condition before embarking on the Tpt pilgrimage. Since she is entering plus two this year, she wants to be razor bald every week like in 2013 till a month after the plus two classes start and a crew cut once a month thereafter. Why, we asked. She said that she likes very short hair very much. Neethi said she would like to be weekly bald like her Akka for as long, i.e. till end July. And we all happily agreed. So all in our joint family except m-i-l and my co-sis got tonsured in end Apr including myself and my two daughters. Every Sunday from 1st of May Preethi and Neethi got razor bald in barbershop. Preethi’s plus two classes started in early July. From Aug first week both have stopped getting weekly mottai. Neethi being bald is nothing new in her school. Preethi started attending classes in a college new for her with bald head and hence got nicknamed ‘mottai’ from day 1 and she does not mind at all. In first week of Sep, Preethi will have her first crew cut. Neethi will have her boy cut in Nov. On July 31 I had my boy cut – short clipper boy cut as usual.

My brother-in-law’s elder son Vikram, turned 22 this June. He passed engineering and got a good job also. His mother, i.e. my co-sister is already talking of getting him married in a year’s time. He is also not averse to the idea but insists that the bride should follow my hairstyle – biennial mottai and a clipper boy cut in between. My co-sis is very happy hearing it. How we will get such a girl, liking to be short haired and will suit our joint family in all respects is to be seen. Ritu replied. Jalaja replied. Preethi, now 15 and Neethi, now 12 are happily bald again for this summer. Their exams got over in the first week of Apr. My co-sis reminded me of the need to shave their heads with clippers. So today the three of us went to barbershop. The barber shaved off the heads of the two girls with clippers and the cut is very close leaving a nice sandpapery texture. The girls are loving it.
I had my usual clipper boy cut, but being summer, I asked the barber to make it a bit shorter all over. So the sides and back clippered a bit higher and the top about a quarter inch shorter. It is looking very nice but still combable. My co-sis is very happy looking at my bald daughters and my short clipper cut.
