Hetal replied. let him take his time with crawling.dont force him,..at the most just keep motivating him to keep his fav toys in front of him and let him try to take them.keep in close distance. also things like ball that keeps rolling as your baby tries to crawling towards it,,works pretty well.

some babies even skip this phase so its not necessary that he might continue trying,,he might start standing directly.however if your baby does not crawl or stand by the end of 1year with support,talk to your dr about your concerns. by that time your dr will himself show his concerns so even if you dont ask himmmm,,
if your baby seems to be doing unfit or not well, he will check on it..

your baby will be having his 9month appointment which is often vaccination & well child checkup visit,,if you are in US.
ne toys that help your baby to depend on them for support are not recommended. they will not make your baby bones strong enough to hold his own body weight. its better that your baby learns to stand on his own for his best bone developments and muscle around knees to hold his bones well when he stands.go to amazon dot com and you will find varieties of ideas about the toys that are best for your baby at this time,,,its categorized month wise and is an excellent source of information. also, you can go to babystore nearby and check on the age mentioned on the toys,,,give it a try.
often 8months and above, kids love the musical and big picture toys or books...they njoy them the most at this age and onwarrds.
good luck Realms replied. every kid has his own time table, dont pressurize him and worry yourself. About exersaucer, i have heard that kids that extensively use those have issues with bone development, you might want to check on that.
