Due Date Club September 2007:My U/S and It´ s a ...))

Name: ramya Hi girls,

Today I had my appointment..
But my doctor did not do detailed scan..she just did normal scan..
and I could see the baby..its cheeks..cute hands and legs..
While we were watching, the baby was kicking...so it was very cute..
The baby was putting its hand on the face..and I could see clearly...I think the baby was big...so I could see it clearly..

The doctor as usual measured the BPD and FL...and baby' s height was ok...

Finally she said everything is fine..and I could not resist and asked her if it is boy or girl...
and she with a smile said \" BOY\" ..
My husband and I were just mouth opened....we were so surprised...not even once we thought it was boy...
so my husband asked her again..is it really boy..and she just smiled...
So we both were like shocked and the feeling was just neutral..

I thought when I come to know, what baby I am having..I will be elated...but strangely we were just neutral..and we just thought ok the suspense is over...:)

Later the doctor said at the end of 6th month she will do detailed scan..She said she will check mainly the heart...

So again I have to meet her after 1 month..which is a very long wait...

I asked her about TT injection and she said that for pregnant women they dont give TT here..
So I said ok...

she asked me to take iron tablet...

thats all girls..finally the wait came to an end..
my husband and I are still surprised..and we were repeatedly watching the scan video...we did not know how the doctor figured out that it was boy..may be experience :)

hi every body and hi to ramya as i was reading her comments from older i just came across this site and felt interesting my due date is on sep 24 th.i got my ultra sound and oh my goodness it s a boy!and congrats to all moms to be.i m in my 27 thweek now.

congrats ramya! so its a baby boy..wow!! :) the feeling must' ve sunk in by now..it takes time sometimes..maybe thats why u both felt neutral that time. yes..seeing the baby ' s tiny hands and feet and seeing it kick and do all sorts of things..its such a wonderful feeling..
so u started any shopping or preparations for the baby?

Thank you :) we are like still surprised...and my husband is still thinking that there is some 10% chance that it is a girl :))
in our family till now we had just girls..so this will be the first boy in our family :)
I just started looking for baby names...and I am dreaming about small small pants :)) and my husband is already looking for baby carts :)

hello ramya,
Normally I dont log in on saturdays,but 2day I logged in to see, whether u had posted ur U/S experience.N yes,I gottu read it..

Kool,is' nt the babies cute lil hand n legs pretty/,God,they' re so tiny,so lovable...I bet evn u' ll not be able 2 stop urself 4m seeing the Baby CD more than n number of times:-)

hmm so one more addition for the blue team:-)Gud...Well our pink team is lil too less now,but all here Indian mommies,for us its a suspense till our due date,so we just gottu wait:-)

Hey one gud thing happned iwth me,normally during pregnancy our blood flow(2 be presice,our bloodcount) doesnt increase much,inspite of we taking iron tablets.But My doc n aunt were shocked n happy 2 see that my blood count has drastically increased by 2.5 grams.Doc said its a miracle:-)...Touchwood.I' m happy:-)..3 cheers 2 my lil baby:-)its taking care of its momy too:-)...n again my aunt checked me for thyroid,n yeah,I tested negative..Touchwood again:-)

so ramya,now ur work of searching names for ur cutie pie has bcum easy..So have u begun ur search?

Thanks for waiting for my message...

my husband and I are still not able to believe that it is boy..today my husband was telling that U/S are not 100% accurate..so there is still
some % chance that our baby is girl :)) I said ya there is a chance..so lets start calling our baby just " baby" ...:))
ya I know in India..we have to just wait till the baby is born..its a really long wait :)

good that everything is normal with you..touch wood...I think your healthy diet is working in all good ways...

ya I have started searching for baby names..but all the websites have the same names....it is so boring...
i am not finding even a single good boy name..till now I was making girl names list...now I have to keep that list for my second baby :))

did you find any good names??
when is your next appointment? mine is on june 23..it is a really long wait......may be by then i will have a proper pregnant tummy...
and may be I can feel my baby´ s kicks...
