on the same note as Suinidhi ,has anyone done any research on breast pump , again second time moms your advice would be really useful...

i plan to get abck to work ~8 weeks after delivery :( ...but i want to breastfeed the baby as much as i can .... so i think i would need the pump to store milk during my office hours ....

any suggestions ??

I am in the same ignorant boat is you but still writing down something.
I spoke to a friend about breast pumps. She said the Medela ones are good. Told me to get the electric ones.
Also lots of things will occur once you start feeding your baby it seems. Maybe the way to go is to first rent one from the hospital. ritu replied. Hi P,
I am a stay at home mom so a didn't use breat pump too much but i heard about Medela pump.It is very nice and sj mentioned all the information abt it.i hope this will help u much.
Ritu sj replied. I purchased a medela pump in style and will use the same one. I was fully satisfied with it and it worked great. It comes with a bag and everything you need to take it to work. It is on the expensive side but i do not regret the purchase. I carried it to work almost 8 months after i went back to work. You can purchase the pump second hand but buy new accessories so you can cut down on the cost of it.

You can pump in less than 10 minutes each time and you can pump from both at the same time.

When i looked for a breast pump 3 years ago there was not much of a choice. But now lot of companies came up with new pumps so you may want to do some research before spending on a medela.
