Hi,
My girl baby is 4 months old. I am a working women. So we r giving Dexolac-1, and also breastfeed during morning and night. I need some clarifications for the following questions. If anyone knows please help me.
1. Whenever my baby get urinates, she feels by stressing, and also the urine is very hot. We asked the paed, he saw her and told to give more water. We are giving more water. Still she goes like that only. Please let me know is there any suggestion for that ?

2. Similarly when she goes for bathroom, it was too hard and she is stressing a lot.

3. From her born till now, she didn' t sleep during night. During the entire night she was fully wakeup and..sometimes she will be crying also. But she is sleeping during daytime. Please let me know when whe change this sleeping habit?

4. For the last 2 days, suddenly she cried a lot around 1 to 2 am in the midnight..we tried to stop her crying..we tried many ways..but she didn' t leave. Doctor advised not to give bonnison or gripe water. so we didn' t give. After that doctor advised to give neopeptine around 10pm in the night. Yesterday we gave that, but still she was cried around 2 am..I dont know what to do..

Please help me for these questions

Here are some answers to your questions. I also have a 4 month old daughter and I have learned from experience.
1. While passing urine, initially the babies strain themself as they dont understand how to empty their full bladder so nothing to worry about it.
2. Hard stools clearly indicates formula is not suiting her much, I would suggest you to give her BM as much as you can. I am also working and I express milk in the morning and evening for feeding her next day. BM is the best for babies till 6 months. Ocassional formula wont cause any issues but regular use may cause hard stools.
3. Babies have to be put into a routine, they dont follow the night and day cycle on their own. Try to play with her during day time and if required waking her up and keeping her stimulated so that slowly slowly she follows the cycle.
4. Sudden crying can be due to excessive gas or any other colic problems so try to figure out the problem root cause before you medicate her.

Hi Ms.Jagan,

This is in reference to your problem you share on indiaparenting site. Here I would like to suggest you that you should increase the mother feed, in place of 2-3 time start giving her 6-8 times in a day.

Thanks,
Veenita
