I here sharing an experience which I have last week. Myself along with classmates Swapna and Pooja planned for a summer haicut.We three planned to cut short boycut. We have a lot of fights and finally we three came to a decision to cut hair in barbershop..
We three got permission from parents but a little bit objection from Pooja' s father but we managed to solve it..
We went nearby barbershop and asked when there is no much crowded.The barber told there is no much crowd in the afternoon time..
The next day, we went in the afternoon.
As told earlier, there was only the barber, who was reading the magazine..
He really surprised and asked why we were doing so. Pooja told, its nothing, but for a change.He asked to sit on the barber' s chair.On reaching the shop, Swapna lost her courage and she was unwilling to cut the hair. Then self and Pooja was in trouble. Who to sit on the chair. Myself , got ready and I sat on the barber' s chair..
With a little bit fear in my mind I was waiting for the change..The barber asked me to untie the hair, I untied and thrown the hairband to bin.Then he took the cape and tied on my back.This was a new experience. Then he asked what type of cut I want.I told normal boycut.Then he asked for the length, I told the just above normal length that he would give to a boy about 5 inches on front.Also told him not to use clippers.Then sprayed water on to my hair..I could see Pooja n Swapna laughing, looking at me.For a fun, pooja just told him to give me mottai. He smiled hearing this. He holded my whole hair together, then he took the scissors,
SNIP....SNIP...SNIP..
I closed my eyes, then I felt a bunch of hair was released from my head..He dropped the hair on a corner.Then ran his hand over my head and toggled my head.Now, its a bob cut,then combed to front and sides and started his work..
He bent my heads rowards front.He cut the hair from the back side.He done his work very speed. He took some hair from the back side.Then he began to reduce the left side hair..I could see a lot of hair falling on the ground and the cape.Rhe white cape now filled with more black hair and felt a nice design. He then cut the hair on the right side. Then he began to cut the top hair..It took around 30 minutes to complete, When he began to cut the top hair, I could see myself in the mirror and my friends were laughing at me When I looked at them via the mirror. I could see my back side hair also, which is now reduced in length. Haircut is completed now, he again ran his hands over my head. I began to get down, but he stopped. He took the comb, combed my hair towards front, he took the scissor and made my front hairs equal in length. Then he dropped the scissors on the table and took the razor. Asked me whether to cut back hair square or curved square. I told curved square. Then he ran the razor over my sides bending my head to the opposite side. Then shaved the back side and made it a rectangle with curve in the corner.Myself now became just like a boy. Now, he removed cape from back, put some talcom powder on my back , then he brushed my hair on back. He removed the cape fully. I got down from the big chair..
I was unable to belive on my new look.. I took the comb and then combed to different hairstyles..
Now, there was about 5 inches hair on my front and 3 inches on back
Now, next is Pooja' s turn. But before that, Swapna asked him to cut her hair to U shape. She stood, then he took comb and scissors, just trimmed her hair to U shape.. She was very happy and looked many times on the mirror.
Then he asked Pooja to sit on the chair. Pooja was wearing a jeans n bunian . She sat on the chair. She was very happy, didnt cared both of us. Barber put water on her hair. Her hair was just below her shoulders. Inspired from a photograph pasted on the wall,pooja asked him she need one particular cut and showed it to him. He told it is mushroom cut, it need clipper cut on sides and back.Pooja was OK for that . He put the cape on her. Then he sprayed water. He took the scissors and reduced the total hair length..We laughed at Pooja, but she stood without any smile. He reduced her hair lenght. Now he took the electric clippers. He switched ON the clippers. Then he started the clippercut from.the back side.This was a good experience to see. The clipper took a lot of hair just like a JCB. He completed the back side work, then he ran it over the right side, bending her head towards left.Similiar way, he completed the same on left side. Now, the clipper portion have completed. He then began to reduce the length. The floor is now full of our hairs...
He completed her haircut in a few time. She was clippered at the back and sides with about half an inch of hair.Then he done the same things done on me. Now, pooja is with a mushroom haircut.I liked her haircut very much, planning to do the same next time.
Pooja shaked her head and it was a nice experience to see her hair dancing. Now, Pooja is like a boy with jeans n bunian. I was wearing salwar. Swapna ran her hands over Pooja' s clippred portions. Pooja also ran her hand over my shaved portion on back side.It was a different feel
We paid the amount and get out of the shop.Once again looked at the mirror. When we get out of the barbershop, everybody looked at us..
I went home and everybody praised on new look. The sound of scissors was holding on my ears until my sleep.
