Recently I developed ,as what one of the doctors I consulted said,sun pigmentation.Some others said its a fungal infection that spreads.But what I basically heard about sun pigmentation is ,some visibly dark spots or patches appear whereever the skin is exposed to sun.But I' ve developed white patches and not dark spots.This usually develops with some itching and gradually turns white on repeated scratching.My doctor advised not to go in the sun.My questions are.....
-does sun pigmentation cause both dark and white patches(as I heard this from someone)?
-should I or should I not go in the sun to avoid it(as I heard from one of my friends who also developed white patches due to sun pigmt.,that her doctor told to apply an ointment named placentrex and expose the affected area in sun)?
-what are the other reasons for developing white patches?
Anyone who knows or experienced the same please give me suggestions.
