Hi,

I have a dark mark on my cheek almost the size of a small coin. The reason behind its occurrence is: I had a fat pimple on this area almost like a keloid, for which I was applying medicine given by my Dr in US. One day with the medicine being applied on my face, I tried to bake a cake in the huge type oven in the US, & the heat from the oven burned up the entire area where ever the medicine was applied. This created a black mark & the mark is still present though the thickness in that area is gone.

I have done lot of sittings with the dermatologist after I came back to India like peeling, ultra sound etc but its has lightened the mark may be 20. From some angles the mark is less but it becomes so exposed exp in photos due to the light. I am very much concerned about this.

One problem is that now I am 7 months pregnant, & the Dr stopped all derm treatments right from the time she knew I was carrying, & said we will repeat it after my delivery.

I would like to know if there is any Ayurvedic or any good home remedies that I can try while I am at home, instead of keeping the mark idle. I am from Kerala, & have heard of \" Raktha chandanam\" (red sandal), do you have an idea on this? Please advise me ASAP.
