Due Date Club October 2009:Always anxious
2009-03-17
Name: Hermione Granger

Hi all,

I am in my 8th week. I have a 2 yrs old son.

I am always anxious about how healthy the baby would be. Even for my first pregnancy, I was like this. Till my son was born, I was so worried for nothing! This time too, the feeling continues!

Anyone experiencing the same?

wishes,
hermy.

Thanks for th replies. That is so comforting. I will try to divert my mind and think positive.

This time though I am not eating as good as I did for my son. No time, no interest and what not!

Hi ..
i know what you mean, i am also like you , i was paranoid the first tiem about everything, this time also i feel worried, but i kind of convince myself that things are ok :-)...

i think it is specially more in the first trimester because you do not feel pregnant sometimes and there is always fear of something going wrong ... one thing i realized was the first time around, i did not enjoy many things because of my anxiety , so trying not to worry too much ..

another thing to keep in mind (specially in first trimester) is that no news is actually good news :-) ... so take it easy.... remember that things went well for you the first time around, you know your body can handle it fine, so there is a higher probability of things going fine this time also :-) ...

take care and enjoy ur pregnancy ,
-P

One thing I have learnt in my 9 weeks is that our babies are still not bigger than a 50p coin, a bit bigger maybe. We only need to start worrying about eating for 2 probably 2nd trimester onwards.

yes I also feel the same many times. I am worried if I am eating healthy enough for the baby. I didnt take my prenatals for a few days because it made me throw up. I am worried about that too. Just watch a movie or something- just deviate your mind. Wish u a healthy pregnancy!

What to carry to hospital
Ladies,

I have my color doppler due next week, is it done for you all?

How will the list look like for items that we need to carry to the hospital? If I am asking my husband, he is fully ready with his camera and camcorder, but we do not quite have a clue for the MORE necessary items :).

Need help!

Love,
