my mother had curly hair so do I I wonder how sudha my sister has golden hair while our youngest sister chaya has thick black straight hair how is it that we have different types of hair and how come my daughters hair is also golden kiyara replied. it is very common. there are our harmones in our body which some are dominant and some are not. e.g brown is a dominant hormone. this hormone get transferred generation to generation and when they get saturated it might get dominant. so when it get dominant they show their colors. my frnd had blue eyes when she was born in family no one had such eyes. when she started growing it turns in green and now she has gray eyes. it can change over the period too. Most important factor is genetic. If anybody in the family has such type of hairs, as curly or golden, then this must have passed on to the future generation. Look around your family tree, you will get the answers. Other factors can also be responsible for the texture of hairs.
