Hair Care:Painful licecombing scheduled

Name: MNT I am a 28 years old male living in vikroli mumbai. I live alone here since last 4 years and my family is in my native.i keep long hairs upto my waist and normally tie it in a pony or a plait or some time in a bun. Since last 1 month ihave been suffering with lice infection in my hair. As a stay alone i have no one to take care of it . So i discussed this with my neighbours daughter who is very close to me. She initally laughted at me, but then told me she will come next day afternoon. I wondered what she was goingto do. Next day she came in the afternoon and showed me the lice comb she had bought for me. She asked me tobring coconut oil bottle and sit facing my back to her. Sheopened myplait and started searching for nits in myhair by moving her fingers in my hair. After some time she oiled my hair heavily and started combing my hairs with lice come. She found many and handed over to me for killing. This continued for about 1 hour until no more lice were found in lice comb. Then she tied my hair in bun andasked me to clean my clothes and keep the comb. She told she will repeat this after 2 or 3 days so as to get rid of lice. I thanked her. I immediatly felt a huge relief by itching scalp. after another 2 sessions i got much relief. Atlast i thought i was free from lice. But again yesterday night i felt lot of itching and so went to her home to ask for licecombing. Her mother (my neighbouring aunt) opened the door and told me she had gone to some relatives place for 2 days. She also told me that her daughter had discussed my lice issue to her and she can do tomorrow morning for me if i dont mind. I smiled and she asked me to bring my lice comb and come to her house. Today even being sunday i woke early and had bath took the lice comb and went to her place,. She also followed the same routine as her daughter did but oiled my hair more heavily. Just finished 2 hour of lice combing from her. She had asked me not to wash my hair and come in afternoon when she and her 2 maids will make me sit in our common balcony or terrece and do harsh and painful licecoombing. Also asked me to buy 3 lice comb and bottle of castoroil which she will mix with coconut oil and apply in my hair before licecombing, just purchased licecombs and castoroil.

Hi MNT, good to know aunty was happy to tie gajra too you. Please write about the maids too and their reaction to tieing gajra to you. You can buy ribbons at any women store, if you feel shy ask the maids or aunty to get it for you. Color blue and red will look good. You can even tie a veni in your hair too. Ask them about it. Wear gajra every oiling session or alternate week if you like. You can ask the maids to buy it for you every time you meet they can put it on for you. Please write soon. Thanks

thanks for The quick reply.
after I wore gajras from aunt I was very happy and enjoyed wearing them. I looked in to The mirror more than hundred times. I even slept wearing them. next morning I went to The market and bought 6 more gajras. afternoon 3 p.m The maids called me, aunt was not there with them. I took The packet with me and also the hairpins I had. after the session was over they both started tieing two Lists. I requested them to tie a single plait. one of them asked me why. I handed over the packet to her. both of them were surprised when they opened the packet. and they said to me that is why I wanted to have single plait. I said yes. I gave them The hairpins. The maids then again applied some more oil in my hairs and combed it for some time. then one of them tied a single plait which was very tight and The other one tied gajras in my plait. then they turned me spread the gajras on my shoulders. and they kept looking at me and asked my what made me wear gajras. I was feeling shy and I blushed. both of them giggled and were about to leave, when aunt came and looked at me and said you wore gajras today also. and the maids looked at me once again. then all three of them giggled and left. I went inside wearing gajras for 2nd time.
I feel gajras are lovely to wear and have decided to wear them every Saturday Sunday after oiling and licecombing session. please tell me if 12 gajras can be worn? I would like to double the numbers sometime. I would prefer buying it myself instead of asking aunt or maid.
I think red ribbons would be good idea. I will buy them personaly tomorrow. what to tell the shopkeeper? and what size? do you wear ribbons.
what is veni? how to wear it?

i came from the market and kept the gajras on the table and was bit nervous how to go about. but was bit excited as well. then I boiled my hair heavily and kept everything ready. at around 4.30 p.m aunty called me and I took all The stuff along with packet of gajras and went to balcony. aunt started with The ritual. after an hour her friend came for her boiling and licecombing. aunt was busy licecombing me. after an hour she stoped and oiled my hair again as it was time to finish and tie my plait. but I was nervous as her friend was still licecombing herself and I was waiting for her to go. aunt started tieing my plait. her friend stoped and came near us and sat. I had no options. finally aunt had finished tieing my plait and was about to stand up when I handed her The packet. she was confused and then she opened The packet and was surprised to see gajras in it. her friend was also surprised. then aunty asked me if i want her to tie this in my hair. i stood up and nodded my head. she asked me why do u want to wear this gajras. I did not replied. she smiled and told me to sit again. she asked her friend to bring hairpins. she bought. both of them sat behind me. aunt took The long string of gajra and folded it and stick them into hair pin. I was heating them giggling. finally she tied The gajras in my plait and stuck The hair pin. I felt the gajras hanging in my plait. both of them left giggling and I went inside to look myself in mirror.
yes my hairs wear very heavily oiled.
I forget to talk about sour curd , will ask about IT to aunt next time.
as you told about tieing ribbons in double plait, does IT look good? which colour to buy? and from where?

thanks for your reply. my trip was wonderful, except i had some lice growth in my hair since licecombing was not done for many Days. so did some lice combing myself and on saturday aunty had an session of 2 hours then yesterday sunday both the maids continued their session for 3 hours. and finally after both the sessions i was wearing the bunch of lovely gajras in my hair. i enjoyed and loved The experience of hanging them in my plait and also the sweet fragnence. thanks for you help and suggestions. request you to let me know some more suggestions on hair accesories I can try and enjoy. but gajras are lovely to wear and i would be happy to continue wearing it. pls tell me how often can I wear them?

Hi you couldd try jasmine or mogra. Length varies. Ask the lady selling gajra to recomend you what length will suit you. Nothing else you need to buy. Buy six gajra to impress aunty. Does aunty friends ever join and do oiling on your hair. Asks aunt about sour curd too. Write soon to let me me know how the oiling session went and were you made to wear gajra.

hi, Dear Longhairlady

sorry, was not able to write, since i was out for a visit to my native. just came yesterday night. went to aunts home in the morning. today being Saturday she told she will call me in the evening and asked me to oil my hairs heavily. so I oiled my hair heavily and did some self licecombing since I had some itching. was able to find many lice. then I thought of that idea and went to The market, there were 3 women spelling gajras from which one had 3 varieties, so I went to her and asked her about mogra, she showed me and asked me how much I wanted, I told her 6, she measured six hands from a rope of gajras and packed it in to some kind of leaf. actually she did not had single gajras, she had a long rope out of which she use to measure from hand and then cut as per requirement. I paid her and kept the gajras in the paper bag. just came home and thought of writing it to you. feeling a bit nervous thinking how would aunt react when I would hand over the packet to her when she would finish tieing my plait. and what if aunts friend or any other ladies would be present for their oiling and licecombing.
aunts friend is present sometime but she do not oil or licecomb me. should I carry hairpins for aunt to tie gajras in my plait. its only an hour left for aunt to call me and after 3 hours I would have bunch of long gajras hanging in my hair.

Thought of your idea, I think it is good as you feel more comfortable with it. Buy one or two gajra at first, and see how you feel and then let them tell you how many should u put. Does any of aunty' s friends join her when she is having oiling session with you. Does her daughter also oils her hair on weekends. Write soon and let me know how everything went. Ask aunt about sour curd too.

yes some of our neighbour women are out with for oiling and licecombing during Saturday eve. but they do not sit for long and aunt is the one who is there till last along with me. aunts daughter normally finishes her oiling in morning and she wears gajras after that. today evening aunt called me as usual and I went and sat facing my back to her. she started her routine procedure. I had thought of buying gajras and following that idea but did not dare and was afraid to do so. aunt was wearing 6 gajras at that time, I thought I should at least talk to her about gajra. so when she was licecombing me I just sacked her why do you wear gajras. she replied" its a hair decoration and It also make look beautiful and spread fragnence. on this sacked why do she wear so many 6 of them. she replied she had always wore 6 or more as it makes look more beautiful and naked her feel good. she then sacked me why are u asking me this. I said I was just doing time pass.
aunt after braiding my plait told me that one of The maid won´ t be there tomorrow as she has to attend a wedding. so she will be there along with other maid and I should come at 1.30 instead of 3 since she would have guest after 4.
I was a bit nervous about should I follow my idea??
but now I have decided I would stick with this idea and buy 6 in the morning.
please let me know what type of gajra I should buy( I don´ t know any thing), flower, length etc. and is there any thing else I will need to buy along with it.

Hi how are you ? So who does a better job of oiling your hair aunty or the maids. Please describe the procedure of them separately from beginning to end. Aunt ties a single plait while the maids like double plait. Do the maids tie each plait together. Next time my suggestion is ask the maids if they tied a tight oily bun how would gajra look on you and ask the aunt if she tied a single plait how would gajra look on you. I want to know their opinion first. I have worn sometimes six gajras during attending marriage. My hair is not oiled but nicely styled in a long single plait. If you have a single plait the gajra could also be worn around the plait instead on top. What about your friend the aunts daughter does she have long hair and wear gajras ? I am fine. both aunt and maids are equally good in oiling and licecombing. I have already described their procedure earlier. yes aunt tie a single plait and maids prefer double plaits but also sometime they tie single plait. yes they tie each plait together. I am bit sacred about asking the questions you have suggested. both of them, maids and aunt would definately make me wear gajras if I ask them this questions. maids already sometime make fun of me and ask me to buy gajras for my long hairs. aunt mostly wear six gajras on Saturday and Sunday. today being Saturday aunt may call me for oiling and licecombing in afternoon.
so you also wear six of them during marriages. why don´ t you oil hairs before wearing them.
my friend aunts daughter also has long hairs and she also wear gajras on sat and sun like her mom.
after discussing and talking a lot about gajras, I am also feeling an urge and desire of wearing it.
but I am afried and sacred of asking maids and aunt about it and I alone cannot since I dont know how to wear them.
I have thought of an idea.
I will go to the market and buy 6 gajras and tie it in a packet.
then when aunt will call me for oiling and licecombing I will keep The packet will me. after oiling and licecombing she will braid my hairs in to single long plait. immediately after she finish tieing my plait I will hand over the packet to her which she will open. as soon as she will she gajras in the packet she will automatically understand what I want. she will then tie the 6 gajras in my hairs. I would repeat this idea with maids also. what do you think? should try this idea? plus reply soon.

Thanks for writing so soon. So when aunty oils her hair on saturday , do the maids help her or she does it alone. Have you ever asked aunty why on some Saturday she calls you for oiling session after she is done. You are very lucky to have such women take good care of your hair. Do you use a bottle of oil every weekend for oiling session. I have never used castor oil, how does it feel in the hair mixed with coconut oil. Do the maids warm the coconut oil before putting it in your hair. One more thing if aunty made you wear a gajra would you wear it after oiling. I wear three gajras,in my hair. I really like it as during festivals everybody is nicely dressed and hair is well styled. Thanks write soon MNT

Yes Aunt prefers to oil her hair on sat and sunday, she does heavy oiling on sat afternoon, sunday morning and wash her hair on monday morning. only sometime the maids help her for oiling. I dont know why she calls me sometime on saturday for oiling and licecombing after finishing her oiling, maybe she has spare time and she wants that to use it for chatting with other women who are out for oiling and licecombing. I do use lot of parachute coconut oil as i do heavy oiling everyday so a bottel of oil is empty in fewdays. Maids use mixture of castor oil and coconut oil for my oiling they only warm castor oil, it is good for hair but very sticky. so after braiding, my hairs are firm and flat and my head shines like a mirror. I have not thought of wearing gajra, since i have seen only females wearing it. i have seen aunt wearing six of them some time after oiling and braiding her hairs. I dont know if she will make me wear it anytime after oiling and braiding but if she will i would ask her not to do, or hmm may be i will try once... Confused... You suggest...
So you wear 3 during festival. How does it feel, wearing it, sweet fregnance allaround and touch of flowers on shoulders. I have seen women wearing a lot of them almost a dozen.
Do you oil heavily before wearing gajras??

Hi nice to hear to near from you. So now you get double oiling session with aunt on Saturday and maids Sunday. Why does aunt make you sit for oiling session on Saturday when you already have a time fixed on Sunday. Have you ever refused the maids on Sunday if you had oiling session on Saturday. Who is more strict with you aunt or the maids. Please describe the maids to me. Have you ever missed a oiling session on Sunday. Does aunt come to your house or you go to her house on Saturday. Why can' t you refuse her. My maid puts sour curd on me once a week and I wear gajra, only during festive seasons.

Its only sometime that aunt call me up for boiling and licecombing on Saturday. this is because aunt have an habit of oiling her waist length hair heavily on Saturday evening and Sunday morning, this is the time when many other women out for oiling nitpicking and licecombing so aunt after finishing her oiling and braiding call me and ask me to come along with licecomb. then she sit behind me and oil my hair followed by licecombing. finally she ask me to sit facing her bring my hair in front and do reverse licecombing for sometime. finally after some more boiling she tie a single plait and ask me to leave. I do not refuse her since she has done so much help to me for liceremovel.
no I have not missed any session on Sunday nor I have refused the maid for that since all this is done for my benifit and goodsake. boy aunt and maids are equally strict but I feel more nervous with aunt as she do not talk to me much which The maids do. both the maid are fair and wear sarees with hair neatly oiled and plaited. one of them is bit taller than other. both are in their 40s.
so your maids use to apply sour curse in your hair for liceremoval. hope both this maid try this in my hair on Sunday. you told u wear gajras during festivals. how many nos you wear at a time? how do you feel wearing them.

Hi nice to hear from u again. So it seems that the aunt is not there much anymore for the licecombing ritual. Do both the maids sit behind u during oiling session, or one sit in front and one behind. Are there personalities different or same ? Who interacts with u more. Do they also use the same coconut oil for their hair or diffrent. I use the same coconut oil as you and I prefer a single long plait, and sometimes just open on weekends. Are they other people too in balcony for licecombing or is it just three of you. Do the maids have hair up to their hips or ankle. Please write soon MNT. I hope u get to use sour curd this weekend.

Aunt do join them most of the time for licecombing but sometime due to other work she is not able to come. but sometime even on saturday she alone make me sit for oiling and licecombing and I do not refuse her for that.
I have to oil my hair heavily during Sunday morning as The maids have told me to do so. at first both sit behind me and one of them comb my hair for 2 mins. then they divide my hair in to two parts from center partition( maang). then both sit on my sideways left and right very close to me. then each of them starts searching for lice eggs(nits) from their part. after some time both of them starts oiling their part followed by licecombing. both of them sit on both sides during oiling and also use two different combs. so its a bit painful as licecombing is done togeather. They both have similar personality and both are of good nature so both intracts with me almost equally. I asked them once during licecombing about which hair oil they use and they told they also use parachute and some time mix castor oil with it. good to know u also use parachute. even I prefer single long plait but some time I do wear two folded plaits as the maids do it to me sometime.
normally we are the only 3 who are there in the balcony since many of them prefer oiling and licecombing in evening after 5 p.m. so many girls and women come for oiling and licecombing when The maids are about to finish mine. but many just come just to look at us. I just ignore them.
yes both the maids have long hairs since their plaits reach below their waist up to ankle.
I have told the maid about sour curd treatment, but its up to them if they use it in my hair. let´ s see.
who applied sour curd in your hair?.

Hi MNT thanks for writing back soon. When u were late was aunty waiting for you in the balcony and why did u close your eyes ? It seems the maids are getting very comfortable with you and a little bossy too. What are their names ? Have they forcefully tried to make you wear gajra on double plaits. If you get late do they get angry. I oil my hair twice a week heavily. What brand of oil do u use?
I have hair up to my hips. Is it possible to send a photograph of your oiling session or a video. Please do let me know. Thanks again write soon.
