Next day she came in the afternoon and showed me the lice comb she had bought for me. She asked me tobring coconut oil bottle and sit facing my back to her. Sheopened myplait and started searching for nits in myhair by moving her fingers in my hair. After some time she oiled my hair heavily and started combing my hairs with lice come. She found many and handed over to me for killing. This continued for about 1 hour until no more lice were found in lice comb. Then she tied my hair in bun andasked me to clean my clothes and keep the comb. She told she will repeat this after 2 or 3 days so as to get rid of lice. I thanked her. I immediatly felt a huge relief by itching scalp. after another 2 sessions i got much relief. Atlast i thought i was free from lice. But again yesterday night i felt lot of itching and so went to her home to ask for licecombing. Her mother (my neighbouring aunt) opened the door and told me she had gone to some relatives place for 2 days. She also told me that her daughter had discussed my lice issue to her and she can do tomorrow morning for me if i dont mind. I smiled and she asked me to bring my lice comb and come to her house. Today even being sunday i woke early and had bath took the lice comb and went to her place,. She also followed the same routine as her daughter did but oiled my hair more heavily. Just finished 2 hour of lice combing from her. She had asked me not to wash my hair and come in afternoon when she and her 2 maids will make me sit in our common balcony or terrece and do harsh and painful licecoombing. Also asked me to buy 3 lice comb and bottle of castoroil which she will mix with coconut oil and apply in my hair before licecombing, just purchased licecombs and castoroil.

Ask the maids to experiment with diff hairstyles and gajra. Did you buy any new color ribbon? What about sour curd? Were the maids happy to see you too after long time. longhairlady replied. Hello MNT yes you can wear 12 gajras if you want. I used to wear ribbons not any more. Heavy oiling so the plaits can be very tight for tying ribbons. What about aunty daughter, she can help you with ribbons, she would know where to buy. Buy different hair clips and show it to maids to try different styles. Ask the maids to oil hair heavily more than usual and do a double plait for ribbon. For gajra ask them to tie it around the single plait, you might like the style. Next time my suggestion is ask the maids if they tied a tight oily bun how would gajra look on you and ask the aunt if she tied a single plait how would gajra look on you. I want to know their opinion first. I have worn sometimes six gajras during attending marriage. My hair is not oiled but nicely styled in a long single plait. Have you ever asked aunty why on some Saturday she calls you for oiling session after she is done. You are very lucky to have such women take good care of your hair. Do you use a bottle of oil every weekend for oiling session. I have never used castor oil, how does it feel in the hair mixed with coconut oil. Do the maids warm the coconut oil before putting it in your hair. One more thing if aunty made you wear a gajra would you wear it after oiling. I wear three gajras,in my hair. Do both the maids sit behind u during oiling session, or one sit in front and one behind. Are there personalities different or same ? Who interacts with u more. Do they also use the same coconut oil for their hair or diffrent. I use the same coconut oil as you and I prefer a single long plait, and sometimes just open on weekends. hello MNT, how are you ? Thanks for replying soon. Its good to know that any woman can wear the nath. I think you can get a clip on nath done. The only reason they give is because it too heavy to carry you need to pierce nose, but since you will only wear it inside your house for only some time it will not be a problem. Tell aunty that and she can ask her friend. let me know what u think, as you won' t be wearing the nath in public you don' t need to pierce nose, get your ears pierced if you want. I am taking your advice and will get my hair oiled everyday. The maids were happy to hear it, and we have a oiling session in the afternoon. They asked me what made me change my mind, I told them a friend suggested it . I need some advice from you, as I believe you can really help me. I have a younger brother who is 19 years old. He has a thick set of hair not has long as yours but can tie a small ponytail. He has been itching his hair a lot. I think he might have lice, so isugested to put oil and do licecombing. He refused and said no oil as he doesn' t like it. I talked to the maids and they even said they noticed it too. They suggested they will make him join oiling session and do lice combing to him. Yesterday one of the maids while serving breakfast even ran her fingers through his hair and found it dry and rough, she suggested oiling it but he refused. I talked to the maids about him and they said they will try to talk to him about oiling his hair. Both my maids are in their 30 and been with us for some years so they are like family. They have really long hair and oil it everyday, so they want to take care of his hair too. I know you have aunty and the maids taking good care of you. Please advice me what I can say to maids to convince him. Should they plan something, to trick him into oiling or do forceful oiling and licecombing. Since they have been with us from he was young, they can be stern. They were saying if not today then Saturday would be a good day to oil his hair. I even suggested castor oil and they like the idea. Sorry could not write for many days as i was again out for visit at native. just came yesterday. and am busy licecombing since then. lot of lice had grown since I had licecombing done only 2 times in native, and the scalp was so itchy that I could not resist and did some oiling and licecombing even in journey.
I am very happy that you started oiling everyday. I belive that hairs should be oiled everyday. even your maids are happy with that. as with your younger brother I recommend you make him sit and counsel him about oiling. make him understand that for lice removel oiling is very necessary and licecombing will be best effective in heavily oiled hairs. and if he doesn´ t like to keep hairs oiled then he can imeditaly wash his hairs after licecombing. see if he agree with it or else make him forcefully sit and get his hair heavily oiled and do licecombing. use coconut oil mixed with castor oil for better result. ask the maids to talk to him if he is still not ready. you can even call him when you all sit for your oiling session. tell him that lice removel takes time and will have to follow this ritual for many days.
yesterday night went to aunt Home, she was happy to see me, she had received the set of earrings and kolhapuri nath from her friend, she showed it to me. but they are regular ones and not the clip on version. I told her that I don´ t want to pierse my nose but will pierce both my ears. she is insisting me to pierce my nose also. she knows some one who can come and do the piercing at home also but in traditional way. I told her ok but only earpiercing. aunt is planning to call him on Saturday. what do you suggest. please tell me if I go for nosepiercing will The hole be visible when I am not wearing the nath. will it be painful. also suggest me how many holes should I go for in each ear. aunt has 3 piercing in each ear and looks beautiful.

Thanks for your reply. while massaging my hands both the maids were sitting on my sides. they took generous amount of oil say 2 hands ful for each hand. after massaging my hands one of them took some oil and started masseging my neck and other my forehead. next time I will ask them for 20 mins.
so your maids oil you hair twice every week. I feel you should allow them to oil your hairs everyday. I belive in daily oiling for long and beautiful hairs.
yes maids and aunt were earings everyday. aunt has got 3 piersing in each ear. no they dont make me wear bindi. only aunt made me wear once.
I had a talk with aunt about nath. she told me its a traditional Kolhapuri/Bhramani nath which is mostly wore by married womens but can be worn by un married as well. she asked her friend as well but she also replied that since its big and heavy so it wont be able to hold itself on nose and will fall off. the only option to wear such type of nath is piersing. I am not able to decide anything. should I go for both earpiersing and nose piersing aswell or only nosepiersing.

Thanks for your reply. normally its nothing special about festival. morning as a routine took bath and sat before TV with oil bottle and licecomb. oiled my hair and was licecombing and watching tv. just than the door bell rang and I opened it. aunt came in and saw me oiling and licecombing. she told today being festival she went to market to buy veni and bought for me also. I thanked her and she left. then I continued with licecombing for sometime. applied some more oil and tied a bun and took the veni and tied it round The bun. wore my nath and went in front of mirror to admire myself.
yesterday after the maids finished tieing ribbons in my double plait I asked them if they could apply some oil on my hands. they told my why I wanted to do so. I told them its good for skin during summer. they laughed and both of them started pouring oil on my hands and started massaging It. I was purposely wearing a sleveless tshirt. they applied oil on my hands, neck and forehead and massaged it for 10 mins. then I went Home.
I went to The jewellery shop in eveng. showed him the nath and asked him if he can make it with clipon type. he told its a traditional nath. it is very heavy and could not take the weight and will fall of the nose. he also told me this type of nath is worn by only married women. he asked me for whom I want to make one. I told for my friend. he told me to bring her and get her nose piersed. then I asked him about my earpiersing, he told he can do it , there are two ways 1) with a gun 2) traditional way. I told him will come later. in his shop I saw a girl piersing her nose and her mother holding her tight and tears rolling from her eyes. but after itwas done she was happy and smiled.
now I am confused about it. what should I do?
should I go for earpiersing only? which way by gun or traditional way.?
is it true that the type of nath it is can be only worn by married women?? I have seen aunt wearing it. its a big one and even touches her lower lips. I have a urge to wear it.

ri MNT, Thanks for writing soon, aunty made a good suggestion,I think you should go to jewelry store and talk to person and ask them to make you same nath but with a clip on. It is better as they can advise you whether they can do it or not. I think they can custom make it for you. It would be better as with a clip on you don' t need to Peirce the the nose. You could also ask about clip on earrings. If you want get ears peireced as guys wear earings too and the holes are small. Let me know what u think. What choti did aunt tie you. Did they like shalimar oil. It good you like to oil your hair everyday. I just wished having a maid would take proper care of your hair. Please let me know how oiling session with maids go, did they massage your hands. It would be nice to make nath for the maids too as they take good care to you. Thanks for your advice. my session went as routine. aunt tied a single long choti with gajras and yesterday maids tied me double folded plaits with ribbons. I asked them to massage my hands with oil and they did that. hmm i enjoyed it as it was very relaxing . yes all of them liked shalimar. today been gudipadwa a festival. aunt had bought venis for every one. but no session today since everybody is busy. so I myself oiled my hairs and wore a bun. tied the veni round it. wore my nath as well.
I am planning to visit the jewellary store in eveng or tomorrow and talk to them if they can make a similar nath with clip. its a good idea as u suggested I think will piersed my both ears as many guys go for earpiersing. and for nose would wait and then decide.

I had a talk with aunt about her nath yesterday when she was oiling and licecombing me. I told her that I want a similar one for myself. she told me she can ask her friend who bought it for her. I said thanks to her but asked her how can I wear that since its a screw type . she told me to pierce my nose. she also showed me the matching earrings which is a part of the set aunt got from her friend. she told me to visit a particular jewellery shop in the market and get my ears and nose pierced.
aunt has the longest hair up to her knees. maids have hair up to their waist and mine a bit longer than waist. I bought shalimar oil for everyone.
I thought of getting a maid for my Home but I don´ t feel its necessary. I love oiling my hairs heavily myself everyday 2,3 times a day. I will ask the maids to massage my hands with coconut oil after my licecombing today.
should I ask aunt for getting me a Clip type nath and earrings or visit that jewweler and go for nose piersing as advised by aunt. will it be painful? will the hole be visible when I am not wearing the nath in my nose? and if I go for nose piersing should I also do my earpiersing?. I would go with your advice.

yes. i had a nice time. actually I had a talk with aunt about all 4 of having same hair style and wearing veni. aunt agreed. so in afternoon we all met. after they oiled and licecombed me. one of the maids tied my hair in a bun. all three of them had already tied their hair in bun. I requested them to again oil heavily and tie fresh bun. they then oiled each other and tied bun. then aunt again opened my bun. applied some more oil and combed it and tied The bun. so mine was the oilest bun and aunt had the biggest and mine second biggest. one maid tied veni in our (3 of us) bun and then other maid tied in her bun. we all were then having similar hair style with veni. aunt then asked me to wear nath. I wore the nath. then I asked everybody to come to my home, and we had a group photo. when we saw the pic it was lovely. all three of them wearing saree and veni in oiled bun and me in standing in between wearing jeans -tshirt and veni in my oiled bun with beautiful nath in my nose.
I would buy shailmar oil for all and all of us would use it then. my oiling and lice combing went as routine. no new style but asked aunt to tie sagarchoti on saturday and wore gajras in them and also nath in my nose.
yes I do massage my hands and legs with coconut oil before bathing some time. once in a month i put lot of mustard oil in my hair during night and next day I massage my body with mustard oil and then take bath.
I would love to wear that big screw type nath aunt has but I have not thought of piercing my nose for it. since I have not seen any boys with pierced nose. usually boys do have both the ears piersed. even if I go for it, will the hole be visible when I am not wearing any thing in my nose when I am out of Home. also it will be very painful na. I am very confused. please help me with your suggestion.

Yes.. I loved Shalimar Coconut oil. I usually oil my hairs very heavily 2 to 3 times a day. so I prefer coconut oil which is pure thick and has good fragnance. this oil is good.. as good as parachute. aunt and maids asked me about this. I said I got good review of this oil from a friend. they mixed IT with castle oil. aunt told me that castor oil is good for hair thickning and growth.
last week I bought venis for all four of us. we all wore venis in heavily oiled bun. then I showed my nath to The maids. they giggled and asked me to wear. I cliped it in my nose. The maids laughed loudly. I blushed. Yesterday all 3 of them were there for oiling and licecombing me. I had bought 12 gajras to wear. aunt did some thing new. she tied my hair in a plait. tied 6 gajras on the plait and 3 on left 3 on right side of plait.
I wanted to buy a big nath similar to that aunt has. but it is not available anywhere un clip version. tried at many Places , its avalible only in screw type. I have a deep urge to wear it.

Yes.. I loved Shalimar Coconut oil. I usually oil my hairs very heavily 2 to 3 times a day. so I prefer coconut oil which is pure thick and has good fragnance. this oil is good.. as good as parachute. aunt and maids asked me about this. Hello MNT nice to hear you bought a brand I recommended and you liked it. P?ease do buy one More bottle for weekend oiling session with maids and aunty. You can wear veni by yourself. Looks like!e you bought a lot of stuff. What color is the nath ? Buy veni too for everyone e as then you have a chance to wear veni yourself. I think all of you should wear lahariya choti that day. Show the maids all the stuff you bought and let them decorate it in yout hair. Let me think so I can suggest what else you should buy Khajuria choti is a fish braid. hair is tied in a pony tail then braided tightly. Ask the maids to oil your braid properly before gajra and veni. Aunty will be happy to see you bougth nath. Do you buy gajra from same flower girl. Does,she have long hair too. Ask her to tie gajra too in your hair, she can recomemd good style to you.

yes I loved shalimar coconut oil and bought another 2 bottles. it has good fragnence and is also sticky enough which is more important. I think its very pure.
I have started wearing veni myself. its very simple. also loved wearing it along with nath. my nath is of cream colour with golden and red beads in it. last Saturday aunt tied me lahariya choti with heavy oiling. I wanted to show her my nath but could not gather courage. finally on Sunday I bought both veni and gajras to wear. maids continued with their ritual and aunt joined them in The later stage. I gave them both veni and gajras. aunt tied my hair in a bun and tied a veni round it. and then she took gajras and tied 6 on left and 6 on right side of bun with hairpins. I was happy and went Home and I asked aunt to come at my Home after 5 mins. I wore my nath and was waiting for aunt to come. door bell rang and I opened it covering my nose with one hand. aunt came inside and askef me why I called her and why I was covering my nose. I removed my hand and exposed my nath. aunt was astonished looking at me wearing nath. aunt laughed and I blushed. then I asked her how many nath does she have. she told 3 and went Home to bring all and show It to me. they were beautiful and one among was very big and beautiful. I took a pic of that so that I can buy it from market.
yes I buy gajras and veni from same flower girl. she has midlength hair. I can not ask her to tie games in my hair since I do not wear gajras outside Home.

Hi MNT Nice to hear the weekend was good. It was nice that the maids tried something new. Did you ask aunty about the other choti I suggested. Ask the maids to tie a bun and wear veni. You can even try a different coconut oil like I suggested. Nath also comes in a clip on version, so you don' t need to pierce nose. Ask aunty to make you wear veni, may be she was just having fun. Even if she suggests to make you wear math she will put it on in her house and not in the open. Ii would be something very new. Ask the maids to put veni with gajra when they do a double plait. Is aunty going to oil your hair this week too. My suggestion is you buy veni for everyone and tell them to put oiled hair in bun to wear veni so everyone has same hairstyle so aunty might forget about math try this idea if you want or you can just buy gajra for everyone. I am planning to buy gajras for everyone on Friday and ask aunt and maids to have common hair style with gajras.
