I am a 25 year old woman, married with a 2 year old daughter. I am employed in a bank. I got my head shaved in Tirupati three months ago along with my husband and daughter at the instance of my m-i-l. Though I was reluctant in the beginning, I really enjoyed the experience. My m-i-l is very happy that I got the gundu done. Now I have about 2 inches of hair. My husband, in-laws and some friends are saying that I could keep my head a boycut for about a year as short hair looks nice on me.

Now my question is, how much does a boy cut cost in Bangalore in ladies beauty parlour and how much does it cost in a regular barber shop? Do barber shops cut ladies hair? I do not mind getting it cut in barber shop if the cost is significantly less.

Also, which way is better to have a boy cut - with scissors or clippers? My husband does not mind one way or the other as long as I enjoy it.
