Due Date Club April 2004: which is best?

Hi,

Have you all decided on which carseat, stroller to go for your baby? Please advice if you have already decided... I am confused about whether the Travel system (till 20lb) is the best option or is it the 3 in 1 which has a weight limit of birth to 80lb.

Please comment.

What we have decided is, buy an infant car seat now and then after the baby is 1 year old around 20lbs then buy a booster car seat (2 in 1) which accomadates the baby from toddler age onwards. I was initially thinking of 3 in 1s , but not planning that now as read in many websites that its not that safe for the infant age as its too big. And also on stroller , some of my friends suggested that the stroller wasnt much useful, only useful if u plan to travel with the baby a lot during the 1st year. I am planning to buy infant car seat with detachable base.
