Dear March 2007 expectants,
Congratulations on obtaining positive home pregnancy test and establishing pregnancy furthermore.
I am sure most/or all of you have been advised by your Dr. on what to avoid and what not to.

Still thought to remind a few things:
1. Try not to eat in restaurants until childbirth -this is to avoid any mishaps from unhyginicity and improperly cooked food.
2. Try to clean greens and salad ingredients by yourself, do not trust on brands saying it's cleaned.
3. Avoid salad dressing, myonnaisse and anything that contains raw eggs.
4. try to avoid caffeine intake, drink tea/coffee that's decaffinated.
5. be good with prenatals
6. drink at least 8-10 glasses of fluid per day
7. do not do any heavy work in first trimester and try to take maximum bed rest
8. most of the fruits are OK to take in limits but avoid raw papaya and pineapples.
9. do not sleep immediately after meal, try to keep 1-2 hours gap between.
10. if suffering from nausea, vomiting keeping stomach full helps therefore try to keep snacking at regular intervals but avoid eating a large meal at go.
11. also morningsickness in some can get worse with oily, spicy food so work on diet in that case.
12. remember to empty bladder as frequent as possible and do not leave it full at anytime of the day, it could lead to constant pain in lower abdomen or discomfort not from any complication but just because of full bladder.
13. avoid monosodium glutamate (MSG) it's contraindicated thus no maggie noodles or something like that, also if making Asian food at home avoid usage of MSG.

Wish you all pleasant and healthy pregnancy.

Archie
