Normal Delivery:Causes of Multiple pregnancies

Name: Sulochana What are the causes of multiple pregnancies. We are planning our baby and want to know what can cause multiple pregnancy? What care should be taken while planning conception to prevent multiple pregnancy? Its god' s gift but I have heard that multiple pregnancies are very risky so we are planning to prevent multiple pregnancy as I am very scared.

Hi Sulochana, first of all congratulations and good luck for planning a baby. It multiple pregnancies or birth are normally do not occur very rarely in natural conception or normal pregnancies. However, if you are planning your conception through IVF it is possible that you will carry multiples...Best of luck.
