Nice to know about the 2nd one on the way. You are really a busy mom.Working, looking after the house and the baby. I do not know how people manage.I am allready tired of my nausea/vomiting and also have acidity. Can any one tell home remedy for acidity?anything you eat heart burns and the taste turns sour.

Sorry forgot to mention...
For heartburn, during my first pregnancy TUMS - calcuim tablets helped a lot. ..which are actually for heartburn too...i am not sure you are in US or india..and if we can find them in india.
But these did not work for me this time...but you could try or talk to gynac about something similar.
take care

Congratulations to you too.
For acidity, it is tough i know until you get into second trimester you may need to bare it...but some things that can help are
1.Avoid tea, coffee, too spicy, green chilies in anything, any fried stuff too...also anything made of potato, tomato(these really make it worse)
2.Have small meals .. avoid big meals...just divide a full meal into 2 and have them couple or hours apart
3.keep snacking every hour if possible or every 1/2 hour(which i had to do)
whenever you feal like heartburn or acidity eat some salty crackers(monaco work great..atleast for me)
4. Keep sipping water every few mins...cold water works great Or if you can find popsicles those also work great
5. Do not keep your stomach completely empty ever
6. sometimes simple ghee and rice or curd rice works so well and keeps your stomach cool down.

I do not know what to do about vomitting...i never found a solution to that...i remember once after afternoon nap i woke and drank water and vomitting just water !! ha ha..it sounds strange haaaa....

These are all you can try but it will never completely go away...some dicomfort will be there...keeping your self busy helps..also go for walks as much as possible and out of house....just sitting/sleeping at home(which i did initially when it started) also tends to make it worse...

Hope you find some relief in these solutions...let me know

Take care

Never take Relicord - pathetic customer care
Hi All,

According to my experience with Relicord, I will never recommend any one to go with Relicord. It' s being 1.5 years now, I am paying the EMIs, but I had enough trouble with them.
1.After one year they send a legal notice to me saying that I have not given the intitial advance of 20,000 R.s

Lifecell is the best
yes Life cell is the best, when ourbabygirl was due in Feb 2011 we shortlisted Lifecell after meeting Cyrobanks, Relicord, Babycord etc. Cyrobanks are thugs they promise you the moon and also there is no indian hand in this company so we can' t rely on them at all. Relicord is good but the offers have so much marketing gimmicks. Other players lacks either the technical inf... - CK [View Message]

Avoid Beena Jaysingh. We' ve got seriously burnt up by Dr. Beena Jaysingh of Apollo Bellandur. Dr Beena is highly unprofessional and always behind money. She is incompetent and doesn' t understand patient problems and needs. Whenever we went to her for my wife' s pregnancy she wrote all the available tests without even asking and thinking.

My personal experience with ReliCord is not good. My baby is now 9 months old and the contract is still not signed. I am following up since last 6 months.

Anybody has any idea what can be done in such a case.... - Ani [View Message]
