hi archie! hope u r doing well.i am from the jan 2006 board and need ur valuable opinion yet again but this time for a friend of mine.

this friend used to have unbearable pain during periods, irregular cycle, excessive bleeding.u/s showed presence of a fiboid in her uterus for which she was on the the pill for a while.the prob is there for about 2n a half yrs.the doc did not operate upon her as she did not have children.she just got married in march2006and has concieved in april(LMP 24march).

today she went for an u/s, saw the heart beat but there r 2 fiboidsnow- 1 on the inner wall 1 on the outer wall.obviously we are worried.acc ur knowledge/experience,

can u pls comment on what r the chances tht the fibroids wud affect the baby.

is there anything tht can b done to ensure safety of the life growing within her?

can it be cured?

she is almost 29,few kgs overweight

My wife is also going thru similar symptoms mentioned by you. Would you mind sharing your friends experience and the baby' s health?

My wife is 17 weeks pregnannt.
