this is my first pregnancy so i wdn' t count myself an expert - but a few things that i do know: 1. wear comfortable clothing always, which don' t suffocate you (and ur child) in anyway. 2. wear flat footwear to maintain your balance always, since your center of gravity is changing constantly with the increase in belly size. 3. Don' t eat anything which will not be acceptable to your stomach. your body will tell you what you want / need. 4. Keep taking those multivitamins and folate - REGULARLY, coz you may not be in a state to eat well in the first trimester 5. Don' t bend or lift heavy objects 6. When your body wants rest, give it rest - don' t push it. the growing baby inside takes a toll on one' s body. its like climbing uphill on a steep mountain. 7. Drink plenty of fluids - the amniotic fluid is replaced every 3 hours for ur baby , plus you pee much more when u' re pregnant - you don' t want to get dehydrated coz that can cause a miscarriage. 8. don' t take any medication without the doctor' s consent.
