am tannya...21 yrs.. i hav a medium complexion.. my friend used to be dark and two months back she went to a skin doctor for fairness and he had given her some tablets and sunscreen.. now aftre two months she has lightened a lot but if i ask her for tht doctor' s address or contact number she is not giving me she is saying tht the doctr has left to abroad and he wont come bk again.. i know she is telling a lie in this case.. tell wat to do.. can i visit some other skin doctor or so.. if i take such tablets will i hav any side affects? pls do reply im confused a lot... nami replied. Tanya, i think your friend did chemical peeling.. this is the treatment done by Dermatologists only, to enhance fairness and get rid of pigmentation, blemishes etc, which was first mentioned to me by my dermatologist. Now am going to give it a try.

She must be lying abt pills, coz pills will be vitamin pills drs. prescribe usually, it doesn make such a dramatic change all of a sudden.

verne replied. there are no pills for fairness, and if there were, i wouldnt hide them for you. but the mightly truth is there are no such pills, unless you consider multivitamins to boost your radiance, which is a good option. apart from that, there are no pills that can make your skin fair.
apply good creams and sunscreens and have a shot of multvits daily, that will help clear your skin and radiate it a bit. Anita replied. I would be very hesistant to pop a pill to lighten me. Does it stop the production of melanin which gives skin its color ? I am not sure. But I am not even sure what kind of side effects these things will bring. I would stay away from any pills that claim to do something !
