I am from the oct. board, Can I talk to you guys personally or in the chat room, as i have also been diagonised with polyhydramnios at my 26th week, I already had one u/s(27 week), and they said that the baby is prefectly fine, I also have another u/s shceduled at 30 week(3rd aug). Please let me know.

Hi Radha,

I didnt know there was a chat room here? I searched , but could not find it. Anyway, you can definately ask any queries here....I will surely try and reply ... The most important thing is to control your diet. Cut out all sugar, and restrict your carb intake. Search online for gestational diabetes diets and try and follow it (although you neednt be absolutely strict about it).

NJK,
It is really a nice idea to meet up at Singapore but my inlaws and 2 more relatives are currently visiting us over here...so I am held up entertaining them.Its almost a week later I am logging in to check messages.Will surely catch up sometime later.Anyway thanks a lot for your tips on polyhydramnios.

I am sorry I will not to be able to chat due to above reason which I have mentioned to NJK.But ..surely feel free to post your queries to Message Board and I will surely reply.

Well..I am in my 33rd week and during my 31st week u/s I was detected with polyhydramnios.My OB has mentioned that I have my AFI index slightly higher than normal.Moreover,he is concerned because I have gained too much weight during my pregnancy.I too would advice as NJK has mentioned in her response to message \";Polyhydramnios\"; ,please try to follow a low carbohydrate diet chart.The only concern is preterm due to early water breaking.
